Story
Names Ripp! Im a healthy and handsome Blue heeler, 3 years young. Im a smart boy that Knows my commands. I was rescued from a scary shelter and Im ready to meet my new people! I really enjoy long hikes in the woods, jogs around town, a solid round of fetch, and being home Relaxing by your side. My foster says Im an easy going guy MOST of the time who’s happy to take in my surroundings and chill. I dont have the endless energy as some of my heelers my trainers met. The rest of the time...well that depends on who has me! I need a confident owner who really understands Heelers and in return You'll get all my quirky cuteness and a loyal companion. Not to mention Im sure to protect my home to keep you safe from the amazon driver and other suspicious intruders. Dogs- I do best with a dogs who let me do my own thing. I dont want other dogs in my face or trying to play with me...I will correct them! A senior companion, aloof resident do or No dogs work best for me. Kids- Ive interacted with Kids and played fetch but Im Not Bluey...Im a true heeler and I WILL use my mouth to "herd" and correct little ones. A home with small children is not for me. Cats? Not sure but probably not.

Gainesville, FL

(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Story
Monty is a 5-year-old Red Heeler with a heart full of affection and a protective streak. This smart and energetic boy thrives in an active home where he can channel his energy and intelligence into fun activities and playtime. Monty is a loyal companion who loves his people and enjoys snuggling up for some cuddle time once he's had a chance to burn off his energy. As a breed, Red Heelers are known for their high energy and strong protective instincts, and Monty is no exception. He does well with some dogs outside the home but can be territorial and protective of his space, so he'd be happiest as the only pet in a home. He is not suited for a home with children, as his protective nature may make him uncomfortable around unfamiliar situations or people. Monty needs a confident, experienced owner who understands the breed's instincts and can provide him with structure, mental stimulation, and lots of exercise. He can be a bit cautious around new people, especially in his home, but once he bonds with you, he'll be your loyal protector and best friend. His intelligence makes him highly trainable, and he's always eager to please. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate, and protective companion who will reward your patience and dedication with loyalty and love, Monty might be the perfect match for you.

Story
Hi, I’m Bud! I'm tall(ish), dark, and handsome (if you like the four-legged, tail-wagging type). I’m an outdoorsy type...big fan of long walks on the beach, weekend hikes, and spontaneous road trips. But don’t worry, I clean up well and know how to chill. I'm house-trained, well-behaved, and always ready to cuddle on the couch after a day of fun. I’m the total package: smart, athletic, playful, and affectionate. I get along great with other dogs and cats—basically, I’m drama-free and bring good vibes only. If you're looking for a loyal partner who's just as down for a snuggle as an adventure, I might just be your perfect match. Ready to fall in love? Let’s meet. I’ll bring the charm, you bring the treats.

Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Jacksonville, FL *This dog doesn’t belong to ASF and hasn’t been evaluated by ASF.* Meet Coco! She is an 3 year old Miniature American Shepherd and weighs 20 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Coco is fearful of strangers! She hasn’t been tested around children or cats. She doesn’t live with other dogs, but is fearful of dogs outside of the home! She is housebroken and crate-trained. Coco bit someone after they tried giving her a treat. The owners didn’t know how fearful she was and pushed her too hard. The owner is surrendering her because she needs a home without a lot of visitors. She needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Coco, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Coco. Story
Azula loves people (especially playing fetch) and gets along well with other animals. She'd thrive the most in a house with another dog of comparable size for her to play with (and a big backyard for them to run around in). We'd love to keep Azula, but we're trying to start a family and would not have the time or resources to care for her as she deserves.
