Now, we’re hoping to help him find the active forever family he deserves.Goober is housebroken, loves his chew toys, and has plenty of energy to share! Like any good Cattle Dog, he’s happiest when his body and brain are busy, so his ideal home will be one that enjoys walks, adventures, playtime, and giving him fun things to think about. A bored Goober may decide to create his own entertainment, so keeping that clever mind occupied will be important!He has lived with another dog before and has done well meeting other dogs here at the shelter. He reportedly lived with a cat, too, but he has shown us that he thinks cats are much more exciting when they run—so a cat home would need to be prepared for slow introductions, supervision, and consistent guidance to teach Goober some polite feline manners.Goober has a lot of love, personality, and adventure left to give. She is a typical cattle dog and has displayed some herding behavior towards guests when not properly introduced into the home. Her ideal home would be a low-key quiet environment with no small children and without a ton of company/visitors. Prior herding breed/cattle dog experience a huge plus. She is selective with her dog friends, preferring calmer, more polite dogs and not loving really overzealous dogs.  ##2704620##
