Story
Meet BB! BB's story could have ended very differently. She and her babies found themselves at a high-intake shelter where dogs are routinely euthanized simply because there isn't enough space. Thankfully, they were given a second chance—and now it's BB's turn to find the loving home she deserves. BB is about 5 years old and 45 pounds of pure sweetness. She's the definition of a velcro dog, happiest when she's close to her people. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, working from home, or just moving from room to room, BB will gladly be your loyal shadow. She enjoys the company of other dogs, but if given the choice, she'd much rather be snuggled up beside her favorite human. BB is currently heartworm positive, which is unfortunately very common for dogs in the South. The good news is that heartworm disease is treatable, and she'll begin the standard treatment protocol. While she is going through treatment, BB will need a calm, low-stress environment where she can rest and recover. Keeping activity levels controlled during treatment is an important part of helping her heal. She will be placed in a foster-to-adopt home while she completes treatment. Once she's medically cleared (heartworm negative) and spayed, her adoption will be finalized. A common misconception is that heartworms are contagious—they're not. Heartworms cannot be spread directly to other pets or people. They are only transmitted through the bite of an infected mosquito. After everything BB has been through—surviving a shelter, raising her babies, and fighting for her second chance—she's ready for the easy life. A soft bed, a loving family, and someone who doesn't mind having a four-legged shadow by their side. If you're looking for a devoted best friend who will love you with her whole heart, BB is waiting to meet you.

Story
Asha is a lovable little girl. She’s potty trained. She prefers pooping off the leash but will come right back when she’s done. All her shots are up to date as of January 2026. I am going off to the military and don’t have anyone to watch her. I would prefer if the person adopting her is comfortable exchanging contact information so I can maybe see her one day again. She is kind of a Velcro baby so anywhere you go she’ll be right next to you. She loves attention and limitless belly rubs. She’s scared of the vacuum but not the robovac. She loves a good walk around a nice neighborhood and playing catch in an open field. Upon adoption, she’ll come with a large crate, toys, water and food bowl, and a bag of food. It takes longer for her to open up to men than she does women for some reason.

Story
Looking for a new home for my adult Australian Shepherd. She is a very sweet, loving dog with a lot of energy. We are moving and not able to take her with us and need to find a good home. She is 10 years old, but still very much in her prime!

Story
This is Cersei, she is a one year old mixed Australian shepherd, although I am unsure what her mix could be. Everything about her seems to be pure Australian shepherd except for her short hair. She is a very agile and energetic dog that loves to play, definitely more suited for someone with an active lifestyle. She can act as a great guard dog and companion for a single person. She is very alert to strangers and outside noises and has a menacing bark to scare anyone off. She isn’t the best for a family with small children, she bonds strongly with one person. The biggest cons about her is she resource guards heavily and has aggression issues. I would highly recommend that anyone who is interested in adopting her be experienced with training dogs and willing to do so. I have been too busy to train her myself and tend to these issues and now that we are moving somewhere smaller it is difficult for us to keep her.

Story
Meet Mamacita, the 58-pound bundle of joy who's mastered the art of relaxation! At just 3 years old, she's the perfect medium-energy companion who loves nothing more than leisurely strolls around the play yard, with her nose to the ground and her human by her side. A true foodie, Mamacita's heart can easily be won with treats, and her wiggles of joy when asked for pets are absolutely heart-melting. She's eager to please and dreams of a forever family who appreciates the simple pleasures in life. Mamacita would love to be your one and only fur baby, ready to bring endless cuddles and calm to your home. Adopt this sweet girl, and you'll have a loyal friend for life! Mamacita was rescued from living outside on a heavy chain without access to food, water or reasonable shelter. Her previous owner was arrested for animal cruelty. Mamacita loves the people who she trusts and is incredibly loyal and needs a forever home that will love her back just as much. She's amazing and is so ready to have her own forever home.
