Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Brock is a 2 month old 10 lb Blue Heeler mix.  He is adorable and friendly with a big personality and confidence!  He loves tug games, soft squeaky toys and chew toys & he loves to chase other dogs while playing.  Brock doesn’t back down from any dog no matter how big they are.  He has no fear!  He just wants to play with them, but his idea of playing with another dog is by nipping their ears, face, or feet and not all dogs will tolerate his puppy combined with Blue Heeler cattle dog herding behavior.  Keep in mind, he’s all puppy with those sharp puppy teeth so small children are not a good fit for him.  Brock loves other dogs and is learning from his foster siblings.  He does settle down and will snuggle up with his favorite sibling on the couch.  He’s a busy body and needs someone to take the time to train him & play with him. We would love to find an adopter with heeler experience who will be able to engage his mind and body with challenges and work.  He definitely needs an active person or family with a fenced in yard.  Brock will follow you around, but he is also very independent too.  When he’s tired or hungry he throws puppy tantrums where he will frantically want to chew on his toys or annoy the other dogs.  A nap by himself or some food usually calms him down pretty fast. He’s like a baby or toddler who gets hangry or overly stimulated and needs either food or a nap.  Brock seems to like to bite on things to relax himself especially when he’s over stimulated.   He does really well in a big play pen area by himself for playtime, naps and potty training.  He will bark and cry if confined to only a small crate, but eventually he stops.  He’s currently used to a big play pen area all to himself.  He is not potty trained yet so he will need to go outside every 2 to 3 hours for potty and exercise breaks.  He’s learning to walk on a leash,  but will still need lots of training of course since he’s so young.  He’s very aware of his surroundings and is a very smart little boy.  He’s willing to learn! He likes to watch the ducks on the pond.  He’s very curious and aware of his surroundings.  He will be a perfect addition for an active person and/or family who wants to put in the work to train him.  Brock's very entertaining & super lovable! He’s a very good boy!! Story
We've had Percy since he was 9 weeks old. He's very smart and incredibly loving with his people. He's a great walking buddy and enjoys playing fetch. He suffers from anxiety and that can manifest with excessive barking and nipping; he's not aggressive but needs to be approached carefully by people outside of his core family. We have a 3 month old and while he's terrific with her now, we are concerned how he'll behave when she starts crawling and grabbing at him, like babies do to dogs. As our daughter grows up we're going to have more and more kids over at the house and we can't trust him to be good with strange kids. We love him very much and it's been a difficult decision to re-home him but he needs an environment with fewer people coming and going. He needs some space to run around and gets along great with other dogs. He does pretty well with cats too, if they can either tolerate him chasing them around or can stand their ground and put him in his place.

Story
Hi, my name is Peppermint Patty. Some call me Peppy for short. It is estimated that I am just about 2 years old. I am super smart, I already know sit, boop, down, drop it, and leave it. I also know what they mean when they tell me to pee or poop on a walk, these are just the beginnings of words that I am learning, and I can (and want to) learn so much more! I would benefit most from a home with someone VERY active and would like to take the time to train me on many more commands. The sky is the limit as to what I can learn. I do get along with other dogs (with slow introductions), but I am also very intense, so it depends on whether the other dog is willing and able to set boundaries for me. I require slow introductions to people as well, you can't just trust everyone. Since I am young, and strong, it would be best to be in a home without children. I love to go on walks, but love yard zoomies as well, so a fenced-in yard is preferred. I am a bit of a handful, so we don't want anyone to think they are entering into this lightly with me. I will need love, time and lots of training to be the best dog I can be. In return, you will have my loyalty and love, I'm a very wonderful companion. No DNA tests have been done, but since Cattle Dog and possibly Blue Nose Pit are both on the restricted breed list, homeownership is required to adopt me. No renters. I have all had all of my shots, and am spayed. This is all included in my adoption fee, as well as a registered microchip and a full set of medical records for you and my future vet! If you are interested in meeting me, please complete an adoption application. Upon pre-approval, someone will reach out to set up a time for a meet and greet. I'm looking forward to meeting you! Only applicants who meet the following current requirements will be considered: - Homeownership, no renters - Children in the home must be 13 and up - Fenced yard not required, but preferred ##1596640##
