Story
Lourdes: My sister and I are the pack leaders! We both are curious, love to wrestle with each other and run and play like there's no tomorrow. I am working on potty training and doing pretty well. I look a lot like my mom. I'm grey with black accents especially my face. I think I am a cattle dog. I have an abundance of energy and will need lots of exercise, belly rubs and ear scratches, if you can catch me! I'm the Houdini of my litter. I investigate, sniff, feel with my paws and look for any available space where I can squeeze through. I think you'd call me an adventurer or creative and I'm definitely not a quitter! My sibling and I were rescued from a very sad situation. My mom, Miracle, and all of my siblings, were dropped off in a ditch. My mom did a great job giving all she had to feed 7 mouths. We were rescued just in time! Now we all live in a nice house, with 2 other dogs, have plenty to eat/drink, toys and most of all love. Adoption fee: $399 available now All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heartworm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records. If you are interested in this pet, please fill out the brief Adopter Survey by hitting "Apply for Adoption" on the profile. After we review your completed survey we will contact you by phone or email within three business days. We're primarily a volunteer organization, so we appreciate your patience. Please note- Out of respect for our volunteers and staff, we are closed on Sundays and Mondays and will not be processing any applications on that day. Do get back to us right away when we call or email regarding an application so that we can quickly connect using the process below: A PCH adoption counselor will contact potential adopters within three business days (PCH cannot guarantee any pet's availability, but we make every effort to accommodate adopters with a reply and possible alternative suggestions). Counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match. After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and leash to pick up. All pets will go home with a collar. It is important that clients arrive on time, neither early nor late. If your adoption is scheduled at Pet Central Helps!: Upon arrival inside the Crossroads Center complex (360 Wylie Drive), look for the black Pet Central Helps! semi-trailer, which is right outside of our facility (Suite 720). Park in the parking lot and enter the facility. A PCH representative will greet you and show you to the adoption room. Your new pet will be handed to you. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at PetSmart: Park in the PetSmart Parking lot and enter the store. We will be set up down the center aisle. Let us know you are here to pick up your pet! A PCH representative will confirm your information and hand you your pet. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day" photo with your pet and family. PCH supports a 21-day no-fault return policy in which adopters are given the opportunity to find a better match. If we are not able to provide advice/tools to keep a pet in the home we offer these options: Exchange for a pet that may be a better match** Receive a refund minus a $40 processing fee** With this approach, we can often turn mismatches into opportunities! Take advantage of the free first week/10% discount with GoodPup Training! This program allows you to work with a professional from the comfort of your own home. Thank you, Pet Central Helps!

Story
Maci is a 4 year old heeler mix with really beautiful markings! She is a loving young lady that enjoys belly rubs and giving kisses. This strong stocky girl weighs in at 78 pounds. She is house broken and knows her name. She can be trusted loose in the house when you are gone and will greet you at the door with a smile! Maci takes a little bit to warm up to new people, and once she does you have a friend for life. She loves going on walks, but does tug from excitement. She is said to be good with dogs, cats, and kids, but she is not a fan of the energetic 1 year old golden retriever in her foster home.  Maci's $225 adoption fee includes her spay, vaccines, heartworm test and prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip registration.
