Park in the parking lot and enter the facility. A PCH! representative will greet you and show you to the adoption room. Your new pet will be handed to you. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at PetSmart – Bloomington, IL: Park in the PetSmart (1606 E. Empire St.) Parking lot and enter the store. We will be set up just inside the store entrance. Let us know you are here to pick up your pet! A PCH! representative will confirm your information and hand you your pet. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at the Cat’s Meow Cafe: Navigate to PetSmart, park in the parking lot and enter the store. Locate a PCH! Representative at our adoption table and let them know you are picking up a Cat Cafe Cat. You will sign your final contract with your counselor and snap a picture of the completed screen. Head to the Cat’s Meow Cafe at 507 N. Hershey Rd and provide them with the snapshot of your final contract. They will get your cat and take a “Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. Since moving to a new home, I’ve noticed a significant change in Dakota’s behavior and overall demeanor. She has become more territorial and has nipped at a couple of people. One incident occurred when my son came over to dog sit, and another happened during a grooming/boarding visit. She also becomes extremely reactive when she sees my grandson through the fence, barking excessively and seeming unable to settle down. On one occasion, she wrapped her leash around me and tangled my legs to the point that I was nearly injured. I work long hours and frequently babysit my grandchildren in my home, so I’m increasingly concerned about their safety with Dakota around. We’ve tried increasing her exercise, but unfortunately, it hasn’t made a noticeable difference in her behavior.
