Story
Scoob is a 8-month-old Aussie mix who is absolutely thriving in his foster home and showing just how special of a pup he is. You can tell his previous family put time and love into him, and in the last week especially, Scoob has really polished up his manners and confidence. He’s fully house trained with zero accidents, knows sit, leave it, and lay down, and is eager to respond to guidance. Scoob was a bit mouthy when he first arrived, but that behavior has nearly disappeared. If he does get playful and forget himself, he responds immediately to a simple “no mouth” and often opts for snuggles instead. He also redirects beautifully to an antler when he’s feeling extra playful. Scoob enjoys having freedom in the home and does great being left out at night, happily snoozing on the couch without getting into trouble. While he prefers not to be crated when people are home, he does excellent in a crate when left alone—going right in, settling with his antler, and not making a peep. Personality-wise, Scoob is a perfect blend of independent and cuddly. He’s happy to entertain himself, but don’t be surprised if he suddenly decides he’s a lap dog and needs to be right next to you. He loves running in the yard, going for walks, chewing on a good bone, and playing with toys (with the occasional stuffed dinosaur casualty—purely accidental, of course). Scoob does well with other large dogs and would love a playful canine companion. Due to his prey drive, a home without cats or small animals is recommended. Because of his size and enthusiasm, he’s best suited for a home with older children. A securely fenced yard is ideal, as Scoob loves outdoor play and prefers not to potty on a leash or tie-out. Still very much a puppy, Scoob will continue to benefit from consistent training, structure, and an active lifestyle. In return, he offers loyalty, affection, and a whole lot of joy. He truly is an amazing pup ready for a forever home that will keep nurturing the great dog he’s becoming. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Zayne is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd mix weighing about 38 pounds who was found as a stray with his brother, Bayne. While their early story is a mystery, Zayne is very much an open book when it comes to affection and joy. He’s the confident brother, greeting the world with a happy tail and a big heart. Zayne is extremely friendly, outgoing, and eager to soak up all the attention he can get. If you’re looking for a dog who believes there is no such thing as too much love, Zayne is your guy. He’s always ready for pets, praise, and companionship. Zayne enjoys having his brother around and clearly values canine companionship, but he does not need to be adopted with Bayne. He'd likely love to have a canine companion in his future home. He would do well in a home ready to embrace his affectionate, social personality and give him plenty of love in return. Zayne is the kind of dog who makes fast friends and fills a home with happiness. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Bayne is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd mix weighing about 48 pounds who came to us as a stray with his brother, Zayne. While we don’t know much about his past, Bayne has shown himself to be a friendly, happy-go-lucky guy. He’s a little more reserved than his brother at first, but once he’s comfortable, Bayne is social, affectionate, and happy to be part of whatever’s going on. One of his most charming traits is his silly toothy grin. When Bayne is feeling good, he flashes a big smile that’s impossible not to love. Bayne enjoys the company of his brother, but he does not need to be adopted with Zayne. He'd likely love a canine companion in his future home. Story
Scout He is 3yr old. GSD/mini Aussie mix. We've had him as a foster for almost 2yrs. Looking for a special home with someone experienced with reactive dogs. He would take time to bond but once he does he is a very lovey, loyal, and protective of his person as GSD and Aussies can be. He knows many commands and I have no doubt he has the potential for much more! He has also been trained to wear a muzzle for safety. He is terrified of being crated but does good left out. He is trained around poultry and has been in a home with older kids, small dogs, and cats. HOWEVER he has shown EXTREME reactivity to other dogs. I tried to implement the bubble theory in training but our neighborhood is not conducive for Scout and he has not shown improvement. Professional trainer assessment agreed he is not fearful reactive but dominate reactive. I am only looking for an experienced home with a fenced in yard with privacy. No dogs and no kids! He is a special case but he is an amazing dog!

Story
Fiona is an 8 year old beautiful mini Aussiedoodle. She loves her treats and plush squeaky toys. Fiona has been raised with adults and is afraid of children. She would do best in a home with active empty nesters wanting a new canine companion. She is current on all vaccines and spayed. We want the best loving home for her. If you are an experienced dog owner you will have the best canine friend. Reason for rehoming Fiona due to our health issues and our senior parents chronic health issues. Thank you
