Story
Hi, I'm Scotty!  I am young,  playful and eager to learn.  I am always ready for a game of fetch or a good belly rub, and I enjoy toys.  I am loyal and smart as a whip, quick to learn new tricks and commands, I know sit and touch to name a few.  I hate to admit it, but I'm a challenging dog and I need an owner that is familiar with herding dogs, someone committed to me that won't give up on me when I push boundaries. I have been adopted and returned three times because I had to give myself a job to do and each time it wasn't a job that my owner wanted me to do. I have a true herding dog spirit and would love to work with you, to play with you, to maybe compete with you in agility or training. I like kids but do best with older children. I am eager to please and listen very well to correction. I won't hurt your cat, but I'm likely to chase and annoy your cats. I like to play with other dogs but my rough play style and desire to herd them, can really irritate some dogs. I would absolutely thrive as an only pet but I could be trusted around other dogs at a dog park.   If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application. Story
While Marco was born without his sight, you wouldn't know it to watch him adjust. He plays a mean game of Marco Polo, plays with his siblings, responds and finds you with a few simple whistles. His favorite past time is to cuddle and sit in your lap. He has been medically cleared and is ready to find his furever home!   This litter of pups were pulled out of a hoarding situation in Kentucky. Story
Hello Dolly.... This cute Cattledog mix is a hurricane Ida survivor. Yep, rode all the way from Louisiana. Dolly is timid and takes a bit to get to know but once you do she is very affectionate and loving. Sometimes overly loving as she thinks she may be a lap dog. Dolly will need a family who can keep working on her social skills. She is a herding dog and will "herd" kids so no little kids for her new home. Dolly is house trained as long as she gets to go out frequently. She gets along with most other dogs but does take a slow introduction. As you can suspect she is very scared of storms, gun shots and loud banging so she will need a place to hide to feel comfortable when they occur.
