Story
Maze is such a sweet and VERY smart boy. Maze was surrendered to us due to his previous owners not understanding the breed. Maze is a herding dog, and has herding qualities, this is NOT aggressive. Maze would chase after the kids in the house when they would run and nip at their ankles, never broke skin. He’s just doing what he knows since that is his breed. He is extremely smart and loves everyone he meets. He is dog friendly and cat friendly.

Story
Hi, I'm Scotty!  I am young,  playful and eager to learn.  I am always ready for a game of fetch or a good belly rub, and I enjoy toys.  I am loyal and smart as a whip, quick to learn new tricks and commands, I know sit and touch to name a few.  I hate to admit it, but I'm a challenging dog and I need an owner that is familiar with herding dogs, someone committed to me that won't give up on me when I push boundaries. I have been adopted and returned three times because I had to give myself a job to do and each time it wasn't a job that my owner wanted me to do. I have a true herding dog spirit and would love to work with you, to play with you, to maybe compete with you in agility or training. I like kids but do best with older children. I am eager to please and listen very well to correction. I won't hurt your cat, but I'm likely to chase and annoy your cats. I like to play with other dogs but my rough play style and desire to herd them, can really irritate some dogs. I would absolutely thrive as an only pet but I could be trusted around other dogs at a dog park.   If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application. They currently are fixed, up to date on shots, wormings, preventatives and are microchipped (with lifetime registration). Story
Hello Dolly.... This cute Cattledog mix is a hurricane Ida survivor. Yep, rode all the way from Louisiana. Dolly is timid and takes a bit to get to know but once you do she is very affectionate and loving. Sometimes overly loving as she thinks she may be a lap dog. Dolly will need a family who can keep working on her social skills. She is a herding dog and will "herd" kids so no little kids for her new home. Dolly is house trained as long as she gets to go out frequently. She gets along with most other dogs but does take a slow introduction. As you can suspect she is very scared of storms, gun shots and loud banging so she will need a place to hide to feel comfortable when they occur. Story
Check out this cool little dude ! Update on Woody (Nelson) Woody is doing great in his foster home! He was adopted as a young pup, and returned to us a couple of months ago for training issues. Woody has worked really hard in his foster home, and come a long way. Woody is mostly cattle dog, and true to the breed, he has a lot of energy, and weighs 20lbs. He would love an active home to call his own. Woody does well running around in the yard for daily exercise. He loves to chase squirrels, and birds. Woody is very smart, and would be a great candidate for agility training. He is house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands. Woody currently sleeps in the crate at night without any issues. He still has puppy tendencies, so he is confined to a specific room when foster mom isn’t home. Woody plays well with his foster siblings in the yard, but will guard his favorite toy when inside the house. He would do great as an only dog, or with a dog friend that respects his toys. Woody enjoys playing ball or with stuffed squeaky toys. His purpose in life is to extract the squeaky from the toy. Woody is still learning to play appropriately with people, and can get a little mouthy when playing as puppies do. He loves attention, and follows his foster mom around the house. Woody’s birthday is May 19th, and he would love to spend his first birthday in his forever home 🎂. Woody is current on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. Story
July 2024: Noah is growing more confident. He still needs another dog to play with and follow. He is crate trained and needs a 6' fence. He is walking on a leash and had his first outing to Lowes this week and did great. Feb 2024: Noah is a happy high stepping 11 month old pup. He evens smiles. That being said he will need an experienced adopter, secure 6' fence, and an active playmate. He will adjust so much better with a playful dog to follow. He is totally crate trained and loves being outside playing with toys. He has been fearful since he was 2 months old Found alone in a road in Eastern KY. He walks fine on a leash and is very friendly at our public events at Petsmart. At the foster home, he is afraid of strangers. He will just need time and patience and will be an outstanding friendly playful pet. Update 9/5/23 His DNA is in and the picture included. He is a happy pup who high steps with happiness. He will do much better with a playmate and dog to follow. He is crate trained. Update 8/15/23 Noah is growing! he is doing well, getting used to being handled. He loves other dogs and needs a companion to follow and play with. He is doing great with crate training and needs to be gotten out quickly in the morning to avoid accidents. He smiles and high steps in excitement when you talk to him now! So cute. Probably going to be around 30-35 lbs. He is 6 months old and 25 lbs.
