Story
Maze is such a sweet and VERY smart boy. Maze was surrendered to us due to his previous owners not understanding the breed. Maze is a herding dog, and has herding qualities, this is NOT aggressive. Maze would chase after the kids in the house when they would run and nip at their ankles, never broke skin. He’s just doing what he knows since that is his breed. He is extremely smart and loves everyone he meets. He is dog friendly and cat friendly.

*****please go to pawshancock.org to fill out an application**** Hi there! I'm Nox, a sweet and playful puppy. My days are filled with boundless energy and curiosity. I love exploring new toys, sniffing out interesting scents, and playing with my fellow shelter pals. I'm always up for a game of fetch or a good belly rub. I'm friendly too, always eager to make new friends. My ideal day would be spent playing, exploring, and cuddling up with someone special. Life in the shelter is okay, but I'm ready for my forever home. Adopt me, and let's make wonderful memories together! DOB: 02/01/2024 ADOPTION FEE: $300.00

Story
Hello Dolly.... This cute Cattledog mix is a hurricane Ida survivor. Yep, rode all the way from Louisiana. Dolly is timid and takes a bit to get to know but once you do she is very affectionate and loving. Sometimes overly loving as she thinks she may be a lap dog. Dolly will need a family who can keep working on her social skills. She is a herding dog and will "herd" kids so no little kids for her new home. Dolly is house trained as long as she gets to go out frequently. She gets along with most other dogs but does take a slow introduction. As you can suspect she is very scared of storms, gun shots and loud banging so she will need a place to hide to feel comfortable when they occur. To adopt go to www.libertyacresunited.com and submit an application. Story
Hi, Name is Chip! I'm the type of dog that is gonna take time to get to know. I'm mostly scared and confused in being here. I'm not happy in my kennel so I do bark at you. You have to bribe me with hotdogs to get me to trust you. Once I get out on leash I'm fine but it still takes time for me to adjust. We don't know much about chip but to greet with other dogs is a must and to be tested around cats. I would say no to kids. Any additional information about me please ask the people in the office. To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-6pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at http://www.HelpTheAnimalsINC.com/adopt.
