VERA is ready to play! She's a stunning young brindle mixed breed girl, our best guess is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. She's around 1 year old and fully grown at 33 pounds. She loves to run and play in the yard with her doggie pals. Every morning she hits the ground running, doing Daytona 500-style zoomies in the yard. Vera has struck up a special relationship with her foster sister based on a mutual love of playing bitey face and tug-of-war. Vera was painfully shy when she arrived at the rescue but she's blossomed in her foster home. She's still on the timid side in new situations and when meeting new people and needs the companionship of a confident playful dog who matches her in size and energy level. Vera needs a home with a physically-fenced yard suitable for high speed zoomies. She's housebroken and crate trained. Found at the side of a country road (very common dumping ground, next to the railroad tracks), and saved by a wonderful "foster" and her husband and son and other doggy friends :) We started living like REAL loved puppies the day she saved us!! We are learning potty training and are crate trained experts!! We are leash training as well, but you have to understand.... we were never loved, never lived IN a home and NEVER had ANYONE CARE!!! So, potty trained or not, we are over the moon (and so is our foster mom). But now it is time to find our furever homes!
