Story
VERA is ready to play! She's a stunning young brindle mixed breed girl, our best guess is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. She's around 1 year old and fully grown at 33 pounds. She loves to run and play in the yard with her doggie pals. Every morning she hits the ground running, doing Daytona 500-style zoomies in the yard. Vera has struck up a special relationship with her foster sister based on a mutual love of playing bitey face and tug-of-war. Vera was painfully shy when she arrived at the rescue but she's blossomed in her foster home. She's still on the timid side in new situations and when meeting new people and needs the companionship of a confident playful dog who matches her in size and energy level. Vera needs a home with a physically-fenced yard suitable for high speed zoomies. She's housebroken and crate trained. If you'd like to meet Vera, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Vera at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. She's very timid during adoption events, but please don't let that deter you, all she needs is a little patience. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Story
July 2024: Noah is growing more confident. He still needs another dog to play with and follow. He is crate trained and needs a 6' fence. He is walking on a leash and had his first outing to Lowes this week and did great. Feb 2024: Noah is a happy high stepping 11 month old pup. He evens smiles. That being said he will need an experienced adopter, secure 6' fence, and an active playmate. He will adjust so much better with a playful dog to follow. He is totally crate trained and loves being outside playing with toys. He has been fearful since he was 2 months old Found alone in a road in Eastern KY. He walks fine on a leash and is very friendly at our public events at Petsmart. At the foster home, he is afraid of strangers. He will just need time and patience and will be an outstanding friendly playful pet. Update 9/5/23 His DNA is in and the picture included. He is a happy pup who high steps with happiness. He will do much better with a playmate and dog to follow. He is crate trained. Update 8/15/23 Noah is growing! he is doing well, getting used to being handled. He loves other dogs and needs a companion to follow and play with. He is doing great with crate training and needs to be gotten out quickly in the morning to avoid accidents. He smiles and high steps in excitement when you talk to him now! So cute. Probably going to be around 30-35 lbs. He is 6 months old and 25 lbs. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs. Application: https://form.jotform.com/FredsMission/app

Story
The votes are IN and we ARE the WINNERS!! Found at the side of a country road (very common dumping ground, next to the railroad tracks), and saved by a wonderful "foster" and her husband and son and other doggy friends :) We started living like REAL loved puppies the day she saved us!! We are learning potty training and are crate trained experts!! We are leash training as well, but you have to understand.... we were never loved, never lived IN a home and NEVER had ANYONE CARE!!! So, potty trained or not, we are over the moon (and so is our foster mom). But now it is time to find our furever homes! We love and play very well together and would be ideal as a pair, but do NOT have to be adopted together. We need another calm and confident dog to keep us happy/played with and to teach us all we need to know about being loved pups :) We are gorgeous pups and our coats will accent your hair :) ADOPT...DON'T SHOP!!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

In the Bible, the myrtle tree symbolizes peace, restoration, divine blessing, and enduring beauty, often appearing in prophecies about God's renewal of the land and people, transforming barrenness into lushness (Isaiah 41:19, 55:13) My name is a symbol in the most POWERFUL book in the world! Can you imagine?? I am Myrtle, a beautiful girl who was found scared and homeless... with 8 PUPPIES!!! and what happened is that the rescuer KNEW I am a symbol of restoration!! I came in so so skinny, so scared and so HOPEFUL that I would have a safe and wonderful life and I AM!! Now, this is where you come into my story..... ADOPT ME!! I a sweet and smart and happy and all my pups adopted and i am ready too... I will be nervous when I first meet you, but that comes from my beginning story... Let's write the final chapters TOGETHER!! Do you want that gorgeous, but humble pup? A mama who wants to know what a comfy couch feels like?? Can you help me learn how to be a couchy potato?? I am waiting!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Ok, lets air it ALL out here!! Lester is NOT my given name...... it was a nickname given to me when I was saved at a gas station and attempted to "own" half the rescue crew by.... wait for it.... hump them!! Thus, Lester the **lester was born...But NOW my humping is done, I am neutered and happy and playful and much more respectful of my people! I am a gorgeous boy, and super friendly. I was found be a trucker at a truck stop- looking for love in all the wrong places :( BUT, he contacted the rescue who swooped down and saved me!! And I have been living the LIFE ever since :0 However, my life is NOT complete without my OWN family! No one really knows how i ended up at the truck stop, but you should know that I was loyal til the end..... waited and watched for my family at all hours of the day and night.... AND I will be that loyal to YOU and YOUR FAMILY! so adopt me so I don't have to watch and wait anymore ;D Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌸🐾 Meet Patches — Nearly 9 Years of Pure, Gentle Devotion 🐾🌸 8 years old (Birthday 4/24/17) • ~30 lbs Patches is the kind of dog who doesn’t need to be the loudest in the room to be the most special. As she approaches her 9th birthday, she carries herself with the quiet confidence of a girl who knows exactly what she likes in life: A comfy couch. A warm lap (or at least a leg to lean on). And her person nearby. At around 30 pounds, Patches is the perfect “just right” size — big enough to feel substantial when she curls up beside you, small enough to fit perfectly tucked against your side. She is mostly a lap dog… or at least a “pressed firmly against your hip” dog. Personal space? Optional. Warmth and love? Required. She’s fully house trained, has lovely house manners, and gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes. She’s been living in a home environment and fits right in like she’s always belonged there. Cats don’t bother her one bit — she’s far too dignified to get caught up in that drama. While she doesn’t spend her days bouncing around with toys or leading playgroups, that’s simply because Patches has mastered the art of peaceful companionship. She prefers quality cuddle time over chaos. She’s less “zoomies” and more “let’s sit together and solve the world’s problems.” Given her incredibly sweet and gentle nature, we believe she would do just fine with kind, respectful kiddos who understand that sometimes the best dogs are the calm, snuggly ones. Patches is at that beautiful stage of life where she’s past the puppy antics but still has so much love left to give. She gets excited when you come home, happily settles beside you on the couch, and simply wants to be near her person. No drama. No destruction. Just steady, loyal companionship. If you’re looking for: • A couch buddy • A lap warmer • A loyal shadow • A professional snuggler • A dog who believes every evening should end with cuddles Patches might just be your perfect match. She’s not asking for grand adventures or marathon hikes. She’s asking for love. For consistency. For a soft place to land for her golden years. And in return? She’ll give you the kind of quiet devotion that makes a house feel like home. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give Patches the cozy, love-filled forever she so deserves 💛🐾

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾 Meet Lariet — The Helping Hand with the Golden Heart 🐾🌾 3 years old • 40 lbs • Australian Shepherd Mix With a name like Lariet (another word for lasso), it’s only fitting that this boy is perfectly suited for being your right hand man — steady, dependable, and always ready to “rope in” whatever the day brings. At 3 years old and 40 pounds, Lariet is the kind of dog people hope for but rarely find. In fact, he’s probably one of the best dogs on the ranch right now — and that’s saying something. His personality is so much like an Australian Shepherd — loyal, level-headed, and deeply devoted to his person. He doesn’t bring chaos… he brings calm confidence. Lariet has become the trusted sidekick for daily ranch routines. He goes feeding with Tisha and Carolyn, happily loading up in the truck without hesitation. Sightseeing adventure? He’s ready. Feed run? He’s already waiting politely. He comes when called — every time — even off leash and from a distance. No hesitation. No drama. Just a solid, reliable “Yep, I’m on my way.” That kind of recall is pure gold. He comes with a respectful resume: • Walks beautifully off-leash • Returns immediately when called • Gets along great with other dogs • Has not bothered the horses • Loads up easily for rides • Minds exceptionally well • Is up to date on vet care Lariet isn’t mischievous. He isn’t pushy. He isn’t over-the-top. He’s steady. Smart. Respectful. What he truly wants is simple — to be with his person. He bonds deeply and thrives when he has someone to share life with, whether that’s chores around the property, weekend outings, or just being your quiet companion at the end of the day. He would make an incredible ranch dog, acreage companion, or active family dog who appreciates an intelligent, loyal partner. He enjoys having a purpose and being included, but he also settles nicely and carries himself with calm maturity. Lariet is that rare balance of capable working dog and devoted best friend. He’s confident without being demanding. Independent but deeply connected. Active yet level-headed. If you’re ready for a loyal, well-mannered, ranch-ready companion who will show up every single time you call — Lariet is ready to rope himself right into your heart. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give this exceptional boy the forever home he truly deserves 💛🐾
