Melody is to music what a scent is to the senses. According to Wikipedia the true goal of music—its proper enterprise—is melody and with your rhythm and lyrics added to my melody we can make beautiful music...together!! I'm around 2 years of age, that perfectly pawsome age where I'm out of the puppy destructive stage but still playfully active and ready for...everything from leisurely strolls to action packed adventures. I'm looking forward to dancing the night (or day is fine too) away to the music we'll be making! I come in at just 54lbs of pure love!! 54lbs of sweetness, 54lbs of doggie adoration, 54lbs of turning you to a pile of goo with my loving puppy dog eyes. What a great size for all our said music making!! I love people and get on well with the other doggies here. I would do good having a playful 'sibling' or getting all the attention as your one and only and I'm also already house trained which makes me a great candidate to become a fantastic family member where we can start making that music together, beautiful!! Are you seeking a BFF to be by your side thru thick and thin, a constant in your life to share in all your daily going on's? I AM that gal, just fill out my adoption application to add Melody to your Rhythm!!!

Story
Check out this cool little dude ! Update on Woody (Nelson) Woody is doing great in his foster home! He was adopted as a young pup, and returned to us a couple of months ago for training issues. Woody has worked really hard in his foster home, and come a long way. Woody is mostly cattle dog, and true to the breed, he has a lot of energy, and weighs 20lbs. He would love an active home to call his own. Woody does well running around in the yard for daily exercise. He loves to chase squirrels, and birds. Woody is very smart, and would be a great candidate for agility training. He is house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands. Woody currently sleeps in the crate at night without any issues. He still has puppy tendencies, so he is confined to a specific room when foster mom isn’t home. Woody plays well with his foster siblings in the yard, but will guard his favorite toy when inside the house. He would do great as an only dog, or with a dog friend that respects his toys. Woody enjoys playing ball or with stuffed squeaky toys. His purpose in life is to extract the squeaky from the toy. Woody is still learning to play appropriately with people, and can get a little mouthy when playing as puppies do. He loves attention, and follows his foster mom around the house. Woody’s birthday is May 19th, and he would love to spend his first birthday in his forever home 🎂. Woody is current on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. We are accepting applications at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SHPA/Dog

Story
July 2024: Noah is growing more confident. He still needs another dog to play with and follow. He is crate trained and needs a 6' fence. He is walking on a leash and had his first outing to Lowes this week and did great. Feb 2024: Noah is a happy high stepping 11 month old pup. He evens smiles. That being said he will need an experienced adopter, secure 6' fence, and an active playmate. He will adjust so much better with a playful dog to follow. He is totally crate trained and loves being outside playing with toys. He has been fearful since he was 2 months old Found alone in a road in Eastern KY. He walks fine on a leash and is very friendly at our public events at Petsmart. At the foster home, he is afraid of strangers. He will just need time and patience and will be an outstanding friendly playful pet. Update 9/5/23 His DNA is in and the picture included. He is a happy pup who high steps with happiness. He will do much better with a playmate and dog to follow. He is crate trained. Update 8/15/23 Noah is growing! he is doing well, getting used to being handled. He loves other dogs and needs a companion to follow and play with. He is doing great with crate training and needs to be gotten out quickly in the morning to avoid accidents. He smiles and high steps in excitement when you talk to him now! So cute. Probably going to be around 30-35 lbs. He is 6 months old and 25 lbs. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. Story
Are you in search of a one-of-a-kind serial kisser? Well, look no further, because I, Mandy, am the dog you've been waiting for! I come with a mix of awesomeness and a charming personality that's sure to steal your heart. I can be delightfully laid-back, enjoying those calm moments, or I can transform into a bouncing ball of joy when the mood strikes. Walks and jogs? Count me in, especially if you're by my side. But here's the thing-I love playing with other dogs so much that I often choose their company over toys. Let's talk sunbathing. If your couch has that perfect spot for catching rays, you can bet I'll be there, soaking it all in. I'm a big fan of lounging, whether it's under tables, during dinner time, while you're working at your desk, or even when you're cuddled up in bed. I'm all about being close to my people, and if you choose to adopt me, I'll be all about you! I'm a sociable girl, getting along well with other dogs and kids (especially with submissive/non-dominant dogs). My crate training and potty training with a doggy door are top-notch. I'm a pro at commands like going to my crate and sitting patiently. Now, about my diet-here's the deal: I have EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency), which means my pancreas doesn't produce the enzymes I need to digest food properly. Thanks to some attentive rescuers and veterinary care, we've got it all figured out. I'll need a specific diet and a pancreatic enzyme replacement supplement to keep me feeling great. Think of it as a special appetizer and entree at every meal. EPI won't slow me down, and I'm ready to trade serial kisses for a loving forever home day in and day out. So, how about it? Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Mac is a sweet boy who knows what he wants! He does love to chase and play with animals smaller than him. Due to this we suggest that he does not go home to a family that has cats or things like chickens. Squirrels watch out! This little guy can move! Mac is a ham, you can't see it in his pictures but he LOVES attention :) He is good with other dogs and happy to be a friend or he could be an only dog and BASK in the undivided attention :) He is a lazy boy and does enjoy snoozing and spending time on the couch napping but at the same time can have his moments where he is ready to go. He is housebroken and does just fine in a crate! If he sounds like the boy for you then don't wait! Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Latte - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Latte: A milder, sweeter and creamy blend of your daily dose of caffeine! Hey there, I'm Latte - a youngish year old 67lb pup who loves to play and make new friends! People often say I'm quite the character, and I have plenty of unique traits that make me who I am. For instance, I'm a total treat connoisseur and will do anything for a snack. I'm also a friendly, playful, and smart pup, but I don't know many dog friends yet, so I'll need some help with socialization. If you're looking for an energetic and fun companion, then look no further! My ideal home would be one where I can get lots of exercise and attention, especially if we have some treats along the way. Just one thing - I tend to gravitate towards people who are just as unique and playful as I am. If you're active and love being a snack connoisseur as much as I do, I'm sure we'll become the best of pals in no time! What better way to spend the day then an adventure followed by bingeing on snacks as we cuddle on the couch!! If you're searching for a fur-iend to share in your adventurous life style, then I'm your boy!!

Story
Meet Archie! Archie is a 3 month old shepherd mix who weights about 17 pounds. He loves snuggles with his humans, wrestling with his sister, and exploring the yard with his human siblings. His superpowers are sleeping through the night, loving everyone he meets, and having very few accidents! He is unsure about loud noises and will find his human right away if something startles him. He doesn't care for the vacuum but will happily retreat to his crate until the vacuuming is finished. In terms of house training, Archie is a puppy and still learning, but is doing incredibly well. We have only cleaned up a couple accidents and he is responding very well to potty training! We do let him out often, but I anticipate great success in potty training for Archie! Some of his favorite things are anything peanut butter, playing/running/exploring in the yard, carrying around his toys, and snuggling with his humans! If you're looking for a fun-loving, energetic, active, super sweet puppy who LOVES giving kisses, then Archie might be the perfect match for you! Archie is being fostered in Cincinnati, Ohio. His adoption fee is $400.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. Meet Daisy! Daisy is a 3 month old shepherd mix who weights about 13 pounds. She loves peanut butter, snuggles, and playing with her brother outside! Her superpowers include sleeping through the night, loving all people and dogs (her brother!), and having very few accidents! She is super sweet and very quiet. She is unsure about loud noises (vacuum, yard trimmer) and can be a little shy/timid at first, but has loved everyone she has met so far! In terms of house training, we have only cleaned up two accidents! She has done very well. She is a puppy, and still learning, so we let her out often, but she is picking up on it very quickly! She will do just about anything for peanut butter, so I have no doubt she will be successfully potty trained in the future! Some of her favorite things are her puppy bones, soft toys, peanut butter, and outside play time. If you are looking for a sweet, quiet, loving, and playful puppy, Daisy might be perfect for you!
