With her charming personality and gentle demeanor, Ginger is a true sweetheart looking for her perfect match. Ginger is a people-friendly pooch who adores human companionship. She's affectionate, kind-hearted, and loves spending quality time with her human pals.  Ginger participates in our Doggie Day Out program and she loves spending time outside on walks and exploring! She does great in a car also! Ginger is dog friendly and came to us as a transfer from a partner shelter.  If you're ready to open your heart and home to this precious girl, please complete an adoption application at ITVrescue.org! Story
Meet Tess! Looking for a forever home for this sweet girl! Tess is a 4-year-old female cattle dog who's ready to steal your heart. She absolutely adores toys and is always up for running around and playing with balls. Tess always seems to be smiling! Tess is not just cute but also incredibly tidy – she keeps her kennel clean and does her business as soon as she goes outside, indicating she might be house trained already! With her intelligence and cleanliness, she's sure to adapt well to a loving household. Tess already knows sit and shake. If you're searching for a loyal companion who loves to play and might already have some good manners under her belt, Tess could be the perfect match for you. Tess could use some help with basic manners, but she is treat motived and her breed is known to be intelligent so we think she will learn quickly. Let's find her the loving forever home she deserves!  Apply at ITVrescue.org to meet Tess. All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary. ##1949625##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Online Adoption Application!   Hello. My name is Moe. I am told that the Amish bred me to be a Texas Heeler to sell. Unfortunately I didn't sell fast enough, and I was headed for trouble when a nice man took me home. Sadly he got a new job and works a lot, so I landed with Kentucky Kitty Cats. It has been over a year now with no interest. She tells me it is okay. She said shelters are all full of dogs like me waiting, and there are not enough good homes here. I am just over 2, and all I want is a family where I can love and protect them.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. If you are interested in meeting any of our babies, please contact us or complete an online application at https://kykittycats.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6024 We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. Our numbers have increased exponentially since Covid. Unlike most shelters, we remained open and hit record intake numbers after the epidemic hit. We have taken in dozens of very sick felines that had no other option, and have even helped over 60 canines in 2021. 2022 was not any better.  We are trying to compute our end of the year numbers, but intake, vetting expenses, cost of food and litter for our 120 plus cats all just continues to get worse with the cost of living increasing like it has. Our rescue has also provided record number spay/neuters 2023 at well over 1200 surgeries on cats and dogs. Our accounts are drained, but we feel these surgeries are the only way we are going to be able to stay a float. We will never keep up with the rate that cats can breed in our area.  We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help.  Please visit and like our social media...  https://www.facebook.com/kykitties   https://instagram.com/kentuckykittycats?igshid=11qfoexi4imaf   and now we are on TIKTOK! Our PayPal and Venmo is under kykittycats@yahoo.com and our cash app is $kykittycats All donations are much appreciated, and feel free to designate how you want them spent.    February 29, 2024, 3:41 pm
