Story
Meet Bellatrix, a true inspiration who's ready to prove that special needs pups are just as amazing as any other furry friend! Bellatrix is 2 years old and she is seeking a loving home.  Bellatrix isn't just a dog – she's a shining example of resilience and love. This Blue Heeler mix has a heart as big as her determination, and she's here to steal your heart away. Bellatrix is a gentle soul who adores kids. She's the perfect playmate, and her friendly nature makes her a fantastic addition to families with little ones.  She is currently fostered in a home with a young child. With her canine companions, Bellatrix is a star. She knows how to mingle and make friends, spreading happiness wherever she goes. Bellatrix's superpower is her unique ability to thrive despite her challenges. She has Canine Megaesophagus, which means she dines in her adorable high chair. She patiently waits for 30 minutes after her meal, proving that patience is her middle name. Bellatrix doesn't let obstacles define her – she turns them into opportunities for triumph! With her charming spirit, she's captured the hearts of her foster family, and now she's ready to capture yours. Ready to open your heart and home to a dog who's not just a survivor, but a warrior with an unwavering spirit? Bellatrix is waiting to meet her forever family, and she can't wait to shower you with love and joy. If you can offer a home for this special gal, please complete an application at ITVrescue.org. All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary. ##1788653##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Online Adoption Application!   Moe was a stray older puppy that came to us very reserved! He’s been socialized, vaccinated, and vetted. Moe needs a home with inside access and definitely does not need farm animals or free roaming cats. He wants to do what he is breed to do, but was not trained. This leaves him frustrated when he tried to make them move! Moe is between 1-1.5 and ready for a family that can love him for the sweet boy that he is. He would love to get to hike or maybe learn agility training skills to keep him busy, but the great thing is, he’s just ready to enjoy life and get his own best friend. Moe would do well with 1 maybe 2 dogs. He doesn’t need a big dog family because he will tend to get that pack mentality. He does love his dog family here. It’s just so stressful on him not being able to run the horses m, goats, and cats. Being a cat rescue with many cats,  he really needs to find an adopter or a foster quickly.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. If you are interested in meeting any of our babies, please contact us or complete an online application at https://kykittycats.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6024 We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. Our numbers have increased exponentially since Covid. Unlike most shelters, we remained open and hit record intake numbers after the epidemic hit. We have taken in dozens of very sick felines that had no other option, and have even helped over 60 canines in 2021. 2022 was not any better.  We are trying to compute our end of the year numbers, but intake, vetting expenses, cost of food and litter for our 120 plus cats all just continues to get worse with the cost of living increasing like it has. Our rescue has also provided record number spay/neuters 2023 at well over 1200 surgeries on cats and dogs. Our accounts are drained, but we feel these surgeries are the only way we are going to be able to stay a float. We will never keep up with the rate that cats can breed in our area.  We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help.  Please visit and like our social media...  https://www.facebook.com/kykitties   https://instagram.com/kentuckykittycats?igshid=11qfoexi4imaf   and now we are on TIKTOK! Our PayPal and Venmo is under kykittycats@yahoo.com and our cash app is $kykittycats All donations are much appreciated, and feel free to designate how you want them spent.    September 24, 2023, 11:47 am

Story
Hi there, my name is Freya. I'm a beautiful shepherd mix and like a lot of fluffy dogs like me I love to be brushed. That's a pretty good thing since dogs like me need to be brushed pretty often! Now my nails on the other hand, I don't really like them trimmed. I'm a little unsure of my beet being handled so need some work on that. In my last home I was a boss dog who loved my people but was in charge of any other dogs that came in. As long as another dog is ok with me being top dog then we could get along great. In my last home my favorite toys were balls, rope toys and stuffies but I will tear a stuffy apart so keep that in mind. In the shelter I've gone with some walks with some nice people! I did great on my walk but did get a little overstimulated with some younger kids. I wanted to chase anything on wheels and I can be strong on leash so a harness is highly recommended. If you are looking for a beautiful girl who will be loyal to her family please come and visit me!

These pups are in Owensboro, Kentucky too!
