Story
Meet Greta, the sassiest, chonkiest girl around!Greta might look like a sweet, slow-moving old lady -- and she is, to an extent -- but don't let that fool you. This curvy queen has a big personality and sometimes a big attitude. She's not here to take any of the nonsense from the other dogs at the shelter. After being surrendered by her previous family, Great's been settling into life at AFDHS with a very clear message: she's large and in charge! In her former home, Greta didn't have much exposure to other dogs, and it shows. She prefers her own space, her own rules, and her own pace. While she might tolerate a calm, respectful canine roommate, she's probably dreaming of solo retirement. She dreams of a comfy couch, a sunny window, and a grassy spot out in the yard to roll in. Despite her quirks, Greta has been nothing but a delight with her caregivers! She loves attention from her people, does fantastic on a secure tie-out, and lights up when she's turned loose in the fenced yard. Watching her zoom around, sniffing the breeze and living her best life, is one of our favorite past-times. Greta is looking for a quiet home where she can be spoiled silly, enjoy the simple things, and call her own shots. If you've got a soft spot for seniors and sense of humor about stubborn old ladies, you just might be the perfect match for our golden girl. **Spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Weighs about 65 lbs**

Story
Hi friends!!! My name is Bailey and I am a 9 month old sweet girl that can't wait to find my furever family! I was recently surrendered to the shelter because I am not allowed at the apartment my family lived at. I grew up with kids and around other dogs so the staff at the shelter knows I am good with them! I am true to my breed and have lots of energy! I even spin in circles when I get very excited. I would love a home where I have space to get my energy out.Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! If not, stop by the shelter at 1048 S 325 E in Pierceton, IN 46562 to look at me! No appointments necessary!
