Story
Our pets are fostered and physically located in NC until adopted. Once adopted we can deliver to your location or one of our north eastern delivery locations. We have a transporter who delivers north ever other week. Aggie came from a local shelter along with her pups. Aggie was surrendered because she was VERY PROTECTIVE over her puppies. The former owner had a small child in the home and she was concerned about her toddler's well being. Aggie had always been perfect with her family until her pups were born. Being a protective first time mom is ONLY NATURAL and to be expected, The shelter knew my love for heelers and they knew I would be patient with her. I have handled Aggie extensively and she is a good girl. She would be better with women verses men. She is good with other dogs and I think she would be great on a working farm. That is where she came from, a working farm. She would be best with an active person and she would not do well cooped up in a small apartment all day. SHE IS A WORKING DOG. She is crate trained. She will go to her new home current on vaccines, heartworm tested(neg), current on preventives, deworming and microchipped. She will be spayed. She will receive a complete physical and a certificate of health issued by my vet prior to going home. The adopter will get all her health records with adoption. We require a pre screen application to adopt. You can get that on our website at www.saveamuttkennel.net

Story
🏆Odin🏆🐎Odin is a 1.5 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix. He is super fast and loves racing around the yard. He needs a fenced in yard due to this and his recall is not the greatest (yet). He will also push past and out of doors from time to time. 🐎Odin is great with other dogs but would be best with older kids that are not at risk of being knocked over. He is potty trained and crate trained. 🐎Odin is fixed, microchipped, up to date on rabies and DHLPP vaccines, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. If you are interested in adopting Odin please visit our website at www.pawsofadamscounty.com and submit an adoption application. When applying, please answer each question completely and honestly. Only complete applications will be considered. Thank you for considering adopting!https://www.pawsofadamscounty.com/adoption-foster-appwww.pawsofadamscounty.com

Story
Ava is a beautiful female Border Collie/Cattle dog mix, born on December 21, 2022. She has been crate trained, which means she has learned to feel comfortable and secure in her crate and loves just hanging out in there 🙂. This is a valuable skill that can be useful for various situations, such as travel or providing her with a safe space in the house.Ava has been vaccinated to protect her from various diseases. She has also been spayed and microchipped.Ava is known for her loving nature and positive attitude. She is a delightful companion who enjoys spending time with her human family. However, it's important to note that she can display food aggression/possession at times ONLY with other dogs. Correcting her or feeding her separately works perfectly. She also can get bossy with other dogs but is also quick to get along once calmed and given a little time. She has been around some kids, but not under 10. Foster mom says she really likes her swimming pool on hot days and snap a few ""wet dog"" photos 😄. Isn't she a beauty!! Would like someone to adopt her that is patient and understands she will need correction when being ""naughty"". Shes still a baby and learning.Application csn be filled out on line...https://www.pawsofadamscounty.com/adoption-foster-appwww.pawsofadamscounty.com

Story
Meet Marley!Marley is a 2 year old Australian cattle dog mix (possibly with a shiba inu based on his Curley tail) Isn’t he the cutest guy ever? His curley tail is the most adorable thing!! Two of his all time favorite things in the world are his family and toys. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, Marley is your guy. He makes a great sidekick when it comes to doing activities together whether it being going on a long adventure or just chilling on the couch. Looking for a alarm system? Marley is your guy! He is protective of his surroundings and wants to makes sure his family is always safe. Sadly he wasn’t socialized much in his previous home. We are working on socialization and his behavior when guests visit the house. Training with a professional trainer is helping immensely. He loves to play with his foster siblings and in his previous foster home, he did well with cats. Marley is neutered and up to date on all his vettings including heartworm prevention. If you’re interested in giving this spunky little guy a forever home that he so much deserves, apply at https://www.pawsofadamscounty.com/adoption-foster-appwww.pawsofadamscounty.com
