Story
$1000 reward for anyone that finds or returns Sid to us!! NO QUESTIONS ASKED!! Sid has been missing since June 13, 2022 from his foster home in Indianapolis Indiana from Meridian park 46205 area. Meet Sid! His mom is Clare the cattle dog mix. He is 1 year old and ever so sweet. Super food motivated. Hes about 28 pounds and at most he will be 33 pounds. Sid ended up with us because he was one of nine dogs confiscated in a cruelty case. Sid was labeled feral and needed help to gain trust, confidence being handled. Sid has exceeded our expectations. He is AMAZING and by far the most awesome little guy ever. He is great with all dogs, cats, and strongly believe he will be perfect with pet friendly kids. A fenced yard is a must. An active home who will continue to allow him to experience life. Daily walks, going on hikes and trails, swimming, OMG he loves swimming. He needs a active outdoor activity loving family with at least 1 or 2 playful dogs in the home. He loves, loves loves car rides and every day he gets better meeting and trusting people. Sid is crate trained and house broken, he walks great on leash and is extremely food motivated. Sid is house and crate trained up to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto, rabies, dewormed, fecal tested negative, microchipped, neutered, and on monthly heartworm flea/tick prevention. Updated: 2/1/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are a required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.

Story
WOWWW!! Hi, my name is Mason. I was brought to the shelter for no fault of my own. I'm a good boy who has LOTS of energy. I love to go on walks and runs. I love to play with all the toys, but squeaky toys and ropes are my favorite. I'm also food and treat motivated. I love, love, love to eat. I do have calm moments and just like to snuggle up and chill out. Come take me outside and get to know me.Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! If not, stop by the shelter at 1048 S 325 E in Pierceton, IN 46562 to look at me! No appointments necessary!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Levi is an 8 month old neutered male cattle dog! Currently 28 lbs most likely will be closer to 40 lbs when fully grown’ Levi is a very nervous boy. It takes a while for him to build up trust with a person. For the first 3 weeks I was unable to touch him but now he’s able to take cookies from my hand, allow me to pet him, and hang out on the couch with him! Now that’s he’s coming out of his shell he’s finally becoming a naughty baby puppy! I’ve been loving watching him steal shoes, throw toys in the air, and try to sneak snacks. Levi will do much better in a home with another dog. He likes to build relationships with other dogs which makes it easier for him to open up to people! He gets along with every dog he’s ever met! He’s your typical pushy baby cattle dog. He likes to push everyone’s buttons but is receptive to corrections from dogs and verbal redirecting from people! Once out of his shell he’s the sweetest boy. He likes to chase toys, play in the water, and wrestle with his friends! Levi had an injury to his rear left leg which has since healed but his hair is still growing back! Levi is searching for an active family who likes to go on walks, hike, and play in the yard! He does have a fence requirement as he has proven himself to be a fence jumper when scared. He will need to be supervised in the yard. He is looking for a patient family who will help him blossom. Levi was brought in with his litter from a backyard breeder in western OH and is now being fostered in Columbus OH Please contact ashquesenberry@yahoo.com  if you have any questions about Jimmy.  You can complete an application to adopt Anderson or any of the dogs on our website at www.comebyebcrescue.org  .    ***  The potential adoptor will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Introducing Baloo!Update  6/27/23 She is now around 7-8 months old and she has learned a-lot of skills. She is super food motivated.  She has a good sit- maintain and eye contact.  Foster mom uses this when she get alert on her environment.  She will get barky and rowdy and pulls against leash when she see other dogs on leashes. So sit- maintain has helped with this issue.    Baloo is super smart and her recalls are great, however you must have a treat to reward when she comes. She is so smart she knows when there is No reward.  Baloo is super playful with toys and loves to chase the ball.   I can’t forget the water hose, her true heeling instincts come out, chasing it and jumping thru the air. Which is a good way to make her tired.   Baloo is crate trained and knows her routine.  She will be a short version of cattle dog, around 25 lbs.************* Baloo is a 7 month old ball of energy and cuddles. But mostly play! She is energized and natural herding instincts. Needs a herding experience home. She is crate trained and learning skills with training. She is learning not to chase the vacuum or broom. It’s a work in process. She has NOT herd people legs, as of now. Super smart and picks up a routine extremely fast.Quickly runs up the stairs when it is feeding time and bolts to her crate and sits patiently and proper, waiting for her crate door to open. She will be taking puppy classes at the local obedience dog school. Truth About Dogs School. Where she will learn more skills. Baloo ideal home would be with someone who wants to see her succeed and socialize her in the big world, and not shelter her at home. Baloo was surrendered to a Southern Indiana shelter when she was just a puppy.  Baloo needs to go to a home with older kids, no toddlers, mainly because her high drive to chase. Plus, Cattle Dogs are sensitive to noise. Looking for an active family or couple. Baloo won’t be your low drive dog. A home with a fence is required for Baloo.  Baloo is being fostered in Plymouth. If you have questions about Baloo, please email   cripecasey@gmail.com  .  For additional information on Border Collies and our adoption process, please visit our website at www.comebyebcrescue.com.  If you have questions about Baloo.   ***  The potential adoptor will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application.*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 3, 2023, 10:47 am

Story
Meet Ace! Ace is such a sweet dog. He came to us from a local shelter where he was scheduled to be euthanized :( He was having a difficult time there, and although he was a volunteer favorite, his time was expiring. We pulled Ace back in August, and he has been with us ever since! We don't know everything about his past, but what we do know is he wasn't treated the best. He was bullied by another dog which is why it takes a little bit of time to warm up. We have introduced Ace to many female dogs, and he seems to love their company! Most recently he was introduced to a female Bernese Mountain dog and when it was time to be put up, he followed her to her kennel :( He craves companionship from humans too- he's just a little shy at first! Do you have it in you to give Ace his forever home? He has been the sweetest thing with ZERO signs of aggression! Aces adoption fee is $150 To Apply: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PFPI-A-392 Ace is a healthy 3 year old boy! He is neutered, UTD on all vaccines, on flea/tick/heartworm prevention!
