Story
Orion is a 2 year old mix that's up to date on shots, Neutered, and Microchipped. He's potty trained and knows some basic commands. He's great with other dogs but can be mouthy when playing with big dogs. He's also good with cats and small animals only showing interest if they're runningHe's great with people however he would do best without small children. He often doesn't realize his size and has knocked my young kids (1&5) over when turning or wagging his tail. He has a sweet, goofy, happy go lucky personality. His biggest problems are table surfing when unsupervised, being mouthy when shown affections (licking), and jumping when excited or meeting new people. He's also picky about dry kibble so we usually add wet food to it. He might like a different kibble though! We adopted Orion before our senior dog passed away and having our last baby. It's truly no fault of his own but between grieving and a baby we just want Orion to go to a home that has the time to train and appreciate him.

Story
Hey everyone! Meet OJ! OJ was scooped up from a very tiny rural crowded shelter in Indiana. He and his siblings mom unfortunately is very feral and the shelter is still trying to trap her to prevent any further litters. The litter thankfully we were able to get them at 7 weeks old so we could start socializing them and even though snoop and his siblings are still shy, they have come such a very very long way. We sent off a breed dna test on March 23, 2026 so hopefully here soon we will have the results and we will update this! All siblings are in a home with cats, kids, and other dogs and are thriving. The puppies will need a patient and loving family, another dog for confidence, and a fenced yard! All puppies are amazing at not having crate accidents and have been heavily working on crate training and potty training and they are doing amazing. These boys will be very well rounded and have the essentials of training already started for their new families! Adoption donation fee is $400 which it is tax-deductible and goes towards the care of homeless pets with Unchained Souls Canine Rescue. To expedite the adoption process you can send us a message at Unchained Souls Canine Rescue on Facebook to request an application or you can email us at unchainedsoulscaninerescue@yahoo.com and we will happily send you one! All Unchained Souls Canine Rescue animals are fully vetted: *Spayed/Neutered *Shots updated *Micro-chipped *Heart-worm checked and on prevention *On Flea and Tick Prevention You only need to see your vet for a “meet n greet” of your new family member and to turn in their medical records.

This 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog is playful, smart, and oh-so-loving—just waiting for his perfect person to share all the cuddles with.                            Fostered in Argos, IN | ~2 years old | Australian Cattle Dog | Housetrained Leroy is the total package—affectionate, fun, and incredibly loyal. He LOVES cuddling on the couch, snuggling into warm blankets fresh from the dryer, and rubbing his face on yours when he wants attention. Squeaky ball fanatic Completed obedience classes—smart and eager to please Great in the car and enjoys short walks Excellent house manners Showing wonderful improvement on leash around distractions, including other dogs Leroy would do best as the only dog in his home or could live with a submissive female dog. While he’s sweet and friendly with people (just ask his vet team!), he’s happiest and most relaxed when he doesn’t have to share his space with more dominant dogs. Leroy may display reactivity toward certain dogs and requires active management during such encounters, particularly in confined spaces such as elevators and hallways. Due to these tendencies, Leroy is not well-suited for apartment living.  Leroy would thrive in a calm, adult-only home -- perfect for a single person or a couple looking for a loyal, snuggly companion in a home where interactions with unfamiliar dogs can be minimized and managed appropriately.   Leroy is NOT SUITED FOR AN APARTMENT . If you’ve been waiting for that one special dog to be your best friend, Leroy is your guy!    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 2:31 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Ellen – Your Sweet Shadow Ellen is a gentle, tricolor Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix who’s about 9 years old. Petite at just 35 pounds, she’s the perfect size for snuggles and companionship. Ellen has already proven her resilience—after overcoming mammary issues and healing beautifully from her spay, she’s ready to enjoy the good life with a loving family. What makes Ellen special Sweet & Loyal: Ellen loves to follow her people everywhere, always eager to be part of whatever you’re doing. Dog-Friendly: She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making her a great fit for multi-pet households. Affectionate Companion: Ellen adores giving kisses, rubbing against her humans, and soaking up massages around her neck and face. Couch Potato or Shadow: Left alone, she’s happy to relax quietly, but she’ll also trail you from room to room to keep you in sight. Family-Friendly: Ellen loves everyone—including children—and greets new people with friendliness. Low Energy: Due to age, she’s calm and easygoing, with modest exercise needs. Special Considerations: Ellen is hearing impaired, stairs can be tricky for her, and she hasn’t been tested with cats—but her foster believes she’d do fine with them. Ellen’s Ideal Home Ellen is the kind of dog who will quietly brighten your days with her gentle presence and unconditional love. She’s happiest in a home where she can be near her humans, enjoying a relaxed lifestyle filled with affection.
