Story
Hi! My name is Sara. I am 7 years old and was rescued by my human dad a few years ago. He recently passed away, so I need another loving home. I am very friendly and love to play. I have been around kids but not REALLY little kids. I am house trained, but I could use a bit more training when it comes to jumping because I get excited. I currently live with my brother, Wally, who also needs a loving home too. Please consider having me join your family!

Kimchi is a sweet girl that enjoys play time with other dogs. She LOVES her toys and her people & sometimes doesn't like to share. She will enjoy dog park dates too! Kimchi loves belly rubs and is willing to throw herself in front of you for them any chance she gets. We are unsure how she will do with cats but should be fine with respectful kiddos 8+. She is also potty trained.Kimchi is also available for our Dog Day Out program. Call 765-452-6224 to schedule an appointment to zoomie your day away with this girl! Volunteer Notes: 1-12-24, "Loved to run! I took Kimchi out to the large fenced in area and she really enjoyed sprinting around at lightspeed!" This volunteer described Kimchi as Adventurous, Affectionate, Athletic, Vocal, Confident, Curious, Extroverted, Goofy, Independent, Playful and Quirky. Story
Sumo was found by a Good Samaritan. He had a terrible, bulging eye that had to be removed almost immediately by the vet. Sumo might be the heaviest blue heeler we've ever seen. He is still a very happy boy that often wags & wags his tail. He walks well on a leash despite his size, likes the other dogs, & is super friendly. Sumo is also very attentive to his humans. We hope that his foster can continue to walk him & control his diet to help him lose weight. We know he will feel better in no time at all. Meet this hunk today! If you have any questions or are interested in fostering please email animalbehavior@kokomohumane.org. You can submit our adoption application on our website. Story
$1000 reward for anyone that finds or returns Sid to us!! NO QUESTIONS ASKED!! Sid has been missing since June 13, 2022 from his foster home in Indianapolis Indiana from Meridian park 46205 area. Meet Sid! His mom is Clare the cattle dog mix. He is 1 year old and ever so sweet. Super food motivated. Hes about 28 pounds and at most he will be 33 pounds. Sid ended up with us because he was one of nine dogs confiscated in a cruelty case. Sid was labeled feral and needed help to gain trust, confidence being handled. Sid has exceeded our expectations. He is AMAZING and by far the most awesome little guy ever. He is great with all dogs, cats, and strongly believe he will be perfect with pet friendly kids. A fenced yard is a must. An active home who will continue to allow him to experience life. Daily walks, going on hikes and trails, swimming, OMG he loves swimming. He needs a active outdoor activity loving family with at least 1 or 2 playful dogs in the home. He loves, loves loves car rides and every day he gets better meeting and trusting people. Sid is crate trained and house broken, he walks great on leash and is extremely food motivated. Sid is house and crate trained up to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto, rabies, dewormed, fecal tested negative, microchipped, neutered, and on monthly heartworm flea/tick prevention. Updated: 2/1/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are a required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.

Story
Scarlett is THE CUTEST! From her curly, striped tail to her sweet, speckled face, this charming chick is simply scrumptious. This terrific 4 year old tail-wagger is spunky spirited, and full of playful energy. Scarlett will sit for snacks and is anxious to learn more. She's currently in a foster home and loves playing with toys and taking walks. She can be a little dominant and possessive around canine friends, so we think she'd do best as an only dog. Scarlett will thrive with an active adopter and daily exercise. Her ideal home will include a physically fenced yard. She does have some anxiety and is currently on a daily medication. This medication will need to be continued in her new home.If you're interested in meeting or adopting Scarlett, please complete an application at: inapl.org/adoption-application. Once it's processed, a member of our team will be in touch with you to schedule a meet and greet appointment. This is the time when you and all members of your household will come to our shelter to officially make your connection with Scarlett.ScarlettAustralian Cattle Dog/Terrier mixFemaleDOB: 6/9/2019Weight: 45 lbs.Heartworm Negative
