Story
Courtesy Post: Meet Mabel! Mabel is a roughly 3 year old Australian Cattle Dog female who is looking for her forever home. Mabel is good with other dogs but likes to have a few minutes to warm up to them. She does need a home without cats (She will chase cats but not sure if she will do more than that.) Mabel has been around kids ages 8 and older. Mabel is very sweet and loves spending time with her people. She is a total velcro pup who would love nothing more than to be the center of someone's life. Mabel is so full of life and so comical to watch! She LOVES to play with toys, especially balls! If you aren't paying attention she will entertain herself by throwing her ball for herself lol! Mabel is crate trained and is crated if/when unsupervised. Mabel will need continued work with obedience training and learning how to be part of someone's family. She will need time to acclimate to a new home and routine. Mabel has been spayed, vaccinated and heartworm tested negative. Mabel's adoption fee is $250. Mabel would not be a good candidate for apartment living. Mabel is located just outside of Alexandria Indiana. Please research this breed before inquiring. Please speak with your family and/or significant other prior to applying for adoption for Mabel. Lola Moon’s Compatibility:Dogs - YesCats - Prefers no catsKids - Yes, dog savvy teens are a great fitLola Moon is a smart, affectionate girl with a gentle nature that shines once she feels settled. She recently spent time in foster care, where she showed us just how wonderful she can be in a home.In foster, Lola Moon was completely housebroken, nondestructive, and an excellent house guest. She settled in beautifully, slept through the night, and did well both having her own space and sharing a bedroom. She lived with four other dogs and did great. Lola Moon was a little unsure around a larger dog at first, but with time and patience, she warmed up and coexisted happily. She also did very well on walks and enjoyed spending time out and about with her people. She may take a day or two to feel comfortable with new faces, but once she does, she seeks out affection and enjoys being close to her people. When Lola Moon bonds with you, she bonds deeply.Lola Moon would do best in a calm, consistent home with dog savvy teens and adults who appreciate a loyal, steady companion. She has completed a board and train program, knows her basic cues, and thrives with positive reinforcement and routine.Lola Moon is ready for adoption and would love to meet you. Story
Orlo will be 2 years old in April 2, 2026. I got him as a rescue when he was 2 months old. He is extremely friendly, energetic, and smart. He has a jumping problem because he wants to give everyone hugs and kisses. He does great on a leash aside from some pulling at first and will sit and heel on command. He knows a lot of other tricks as well. Hes excellent with potty training and has not had an accident in the house in over a year. Hes never been remotely aggressive with other dogs, but he can be annoying as he often doesnt get when they have had enough play. He can play for hours by himself, especially outside. His biggest problem area is that he is kennel aggressive. When stressed, he will kennel himself and bark/lunge/and growl at anyone nearby. He’ll eventually snap out of it and be fine in the kennel. He has never actually bitten anyone in this state and it seems to be anxiety based. My ideal adopter would be someone with land where he can roam for most of the day.
