Max is a purebred Australian Shepherd and 2½ years old. On his hind legs he is over 5 ft tall. He is fully housebroken. Definitely a velcro dog. Hes so very sweet and funny in our home. HES VERY REACTIVE...LIKE MOST AUSSIES ARE APPARENTLY...BARKS AND PULLS LIKE A LUNATIC WHEN HE SEES DOGS OR PEOPLE AND HAS NO EXPERIENCE WITH OTHER DOGS SO FAR. AS STATED ABOVE, HE WOULD PROBABLY NOT BE GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS IN THE HOME. He REQUIRES a fenced in yard to run off his energy. He loves kids but doesn't know how big he is, so they do tend to get knocked down, so very little ones wouldn't be ideal. He plays hard and can jump VERY high. He needs an Aussie lover because they're "special" dogs. Needs serious training!! NOT for the inexperienced dog owner. Thank you for your consideration. Story
Purchased Finn from an independent person, dog had a litter unplanned. He was 6 months when we adopted him. He is full of energy, loves to play and give kisses. He has been raised with two others dogs and a cat. He is gentle with other animals and gets along well with them. He is totally potty trained, no issues at all with that. He has been around kids and can be good with them. His biggest issue is he is very stranger shy and it takes him a long time to get used to people. Once you are part of the pack, then you are good, but until then he is very defensive and barks. You can break through his defenses quickly by simply offering him a treat. He also really gravitates toward his person and can be come pretty protective of that person. He has been known to nip at people to protect his person. With some time and training I am sure this could be quickly corrected. He is smart and very loving, he will give you all the kisses and hugs you want! A big lap dog for sure.

Joy is an 11 year old sweet and relaxed mini Aussie. She walks on a leash without pulling, enjoys being outside and is relaxed in the home. She was born in Hatch New Mexico. Her disposition is quiet and content. We walk for about 1 hour a day and she is not bothered by other dogs/ people passing by. Joy deserves more than I can give her. Working full time and taking care of elderly parents.

Meet Baron! 🐾 Baron is a remarkable young pup, just 1 year old and weighing 45 lbs, who’s ready to find his forever family. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Baron previously tested positive for a tick-borne disease but has since been fully treated. With a heart as big as the ocean, Baron is a true water dog—he loves cooling off by lounging in a doggy pool on warm days. He’s well-mannered, house-trained, and kennel-trained, making him an easy addition to the right home. Baron gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and having a canine companion in the household is actually preferred, as he opens up more quickly when he has another dog to bond with. Baron can be a bit shy at first, especially around men, and may take a few days to feel comfortable. A patient, understanding family will help him blossom into the loving companion he’s meant to be. Because of his gentle and reserved nature, we recommend a home with a fenced-in yard and older children who understand boundaries. While Baron isn’t overly active, he enjoys relaxing around the house, exploring the yard, and going on regular walks—he walks beautifully on a leash. Sweet, loyal, and full of potential, Baron is ready to grow and thrive with a family who will give him the time and love he deserves. Could you be the one Baron has been waiting for? We’ve had Wickett for the last 5 years. He has traveled many states with us and hiked many trails and has ran freely as a farm dog in between. We believe now at this stage of his life he would do best with an experienced family with no kids or kids that are older and can respect his space. Our son is in his toddler years and there is a lot of sporadic movements and food that puts him in difficult situations. He is friendly around our son and enjoys his pets when they are supervised. He is muzzle trained. Very sweet and loving dog. Wants to be with/near his people. Is very smart and food driven. Loves to chase squirrels/small animals and can jump 4ft fence. Meets new people best when he is outside in open space. Let him approach in his own time. Very protective of his space and area. He knows sit, stay, down, paw, touch. He has a dog brother for past 5 years and takes time being introduced to other dogs and animals.
