Story
Hi, Name is Chip! I'm the type of dog that is gonna take time to get to know. I'm mostly scared and confused in being here. I'm not happy in my kennel so I do bark at you. You have to bribe me with hotdogs to get me to trust you. Once I get out on leash I'm fine but it still takes time for me to adjust. We don't know much about chip but to greet with other dogs is a must and to be tested around cats. I would say no to kids. Any additional information about me please ask the people in the office. To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at http://www.HelpTheAnimalsINC.com/adopt.

Story
Weight: 54 lbs 💙🐾 Meet Bandit – A Gentle Soul with a Playful Spark! 🐾💙 Bandit is a handsome blue heeler mix with a shy, thoughtful personality and a heart full of potential. He may take a little time to warm up, but once he feels comfortable, his playful side shines—especially when it’s time to play fetch, his absolute favorite game! 🎾 This smart boy already knows how to sit and shake, showing off his brains along with his good manners. As a herding breed, Bandit has natural instincts that can make living with cats a bit challenging for him, so he would be happiest in a cat-free home where he can truly relax and thrive. Bandit would do best with a patient, loving family who will let him build confidence at his own pace while enjoying fun play sessions and gentle companionship. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent pup who just needs a chance to blossom, Bandit could be your perfect match. 🐶✨ Dogs: Yes, although we recommend bringing in your pups to meet him! Cats: No thank you!! Kids: Unknown, we always recommend brining in the whole family to meet with any new potential family member!!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.adoption fee $450.00 (available 1/18/26) Cooper is a young Aussie Terrier mix with a bright mind and a big heart. He’s making great progress with potty training, does well in his crate, and loves playing with the pets in his foster home. He’s currently learning his leash manners and, like many herding breeds, has plenty of energy to spare—so a fenced yard will be best for him. We think Cooper has the potential to really shine in agility or other active training activities! Before adopting, we always encourage families to research the breed to make sure the energy level, temperament, and lifestyle needs are a good match. Cooper is an amazing pup who will thrive with an active family ready to help him reach his full potential. New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
