Athena Is Ready for Her Fresh Start!Sweet Athena is a 1-year-old female Heeler mix with her whole life ahead of her and so much love to give. She came to us as an owner surrender through no fault of her own, and now she’s ready to leave the past behind and find a loving family to call her own. Athena is looking forward to a fresh start filled with love, new adventures, and a family who will be there for her every step of the way! According to her previous owner, Athena has done well with kids and other dogs. She is crate trained and is still working on housebreaking, so her new family should be prepared to continue helping her learn and build a consistent routine. Athena already knows how to sit, and if you have treats, you’re sure to get her attention—this girl loves her snacks! Her love of treats may come in handy as she continues learning new things with her future family. At just a year old, Athena has lots of life ahead of her and is looking for a family who will give her the time, love, and guidance she needs to settle in and thrive. Athena did great for her exam and weighed in at 47 lbs. She was given Bordetella, dewormed, microchipped, and tested heartworm negative. Athena also came to us with a current 1-year rabies vaccine and parvo/lepto/distemper vaccines. Our adoption fee is $100, cash or local check only. Hi, Name is Chip! I'm the type of dog that is gonna take time to get to know. I'm mostly scared and confused in being here. I'm not happy in my kennel so I do bark at you. You have to bribe me with hotdogs to get me to trust you. Once I get out on leash I'm fine but it still takes time for me to adjust. We don't know much about chip but to greet with other dogs is a must and to be tested around cats. I would say no to kids.
