Story
We got Smokey from a breeder in Indiana as a puppy. He is now 1 year old and his birthday is March 23rd, 2024. He is generally good with other dogs however he can be possessive over his food and he is okay with certain dogs but sometimes becomes aggressive. I'd like his new home to have a big backyard. He loves to run around, he has a lot of energy. He is a very sweet dog but he just has to much energy for us and we don't have the time he needs to wear him out.

Story
Otis is a very sweet and social dog. He is fully house-trained and a true “latch dog,” happiest when spending time by your side. Otis can be very reactive with other dogs and small children, so he would do best in an environment without them. While his reactivity makes him a bit intense at times, he is not dangerous at all! We feel like he just feels more secure with space and routine. He also isn’t a good match for homes with cats or any other small animal. With the right setting, Otis will be a devoted and loving companion. He could possibly be trained to be around other dogs over time if thats something you’re willing to take the time to do. He is very sweet and overall gentle and makes an amazing companion. If I don’t answer your phone calls, please don’t hesitate to leave a voicemail and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you!

Story
Hi there! I’m Oakley and I’m ready to find my perfect forever home! I may be the perfect specimen, if I do say so myself. I’m an adult dog, so I’m past the puppy-crazies but I am still plenty active! I love to go on walks and hang out with my favorite people (well, that’s really any people, of any size!) At the end of the day though, I love to cuddle up on the couch and just rest. I would prefer to be the only dog in the home, so I can absolutely soak up your affection. My other favorite thing is…you guessed it! Snacks! I love a good treat, soft treat, crunchy treat, longer lasting-doesn’t matter to me! Could I be the one to complete your family? Give my friends at the Adoption Center a call at 859-873-5491 to find out more about me or to schedule an appointment to meet me!

Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Covington, KY Meet Maxwell! He is a 5-year-old Australian Shepherd and weighs 53 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Maxwell is nervous around children! No cats, due to his reactivity! He doesn’t live with another dog but is good with dogs outside of the home. He can be anxious when left alone. The owner is surrendering him because they are unable to provide the time and attention that he needs. He also doesn’t get along with the cat. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Maxwell, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Maxwell. Owner’s Contact Information: Ben ella.mahar@gmail.com
