Story
Rosie is a 3-year-old Cattle Dog who is looking for a patient adopter willing to earn her trust and watch her blossom.
Rosie was found abandoned in the country, and while we don't know what her life looked like before rescue, she has made incredible progress in foster care. When she first arrived, the world felt like a scary place. With consistency, patience, and understanding, she has grown leaps and bounds into a loving, sweet companion.
Rosie can be nervous in new situations and takes time to feel safe with new people. She isn't the type of dog who will immediately greet strangers with enthusiasm, but once she settles in and trusts you, her affectionate and gentle nature shines through.
Because Rosie thrives in a calm, predictable environment, we believe she would do best in an adults-only home. She has also made it clear that she is extremely fearful of men, and we feel her ideal home would be with a woman or women who can provide the security and understanding she needs.
Rosie is looking for someone who will meet her where she is, celebrate her progress, and give her the space to continue building confidence at her own pace. In return, you'll gain a loyal companion who has worked hard to learn that people can be kind.

Rosie is an Austrailian Cattle Dog (mix?) and is about 3-4 years old. She is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $300 which helps cover the cost of vetting procedures. Adoptable pets will have received age-appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, heartworm test (if applicable) and a spay/neuter.
