You see, I'm hearing impaired, but I am super smart so I use hand signs to communicate! I have been waiting a while for my perfect home, but I will be a great companion once I find the right match. I will need SEVERAL MEETS before adoption, as I am people selective and it takes me a bit to get to know and trust someone. I'm a two year old who is a happy, handsome fella with gorgeous baby blues and would love to be someone's one and only. Once I trust them, I'd love for them to take me on walks/runs, play fetch, toss me toys, snuggle with me and teach me new commands! I do have a few requirements, though: I NEED A FENCED IN YARD, AN EXPERIENCED OWNER AND MUST BE AN ONLY DOG. So, if you have enough time, patience, dogs skills and can go slow with me, I will learn to trust you and be your loyal forever boy. No apartments please! Also, small children make me really nervous as I can't hear them so teenagers and adults only. I also prefer a house that won't be active with too many strangers coming and going but am crate trained, if needed. I currently living with a trainer and she loves me so much that she will provide continued training help for my whole life! Danni is a 4 year old Cattle dog mix who is training to play ball for the major leagues one day! Her preferred pawrent would throw a ball for her all day long. Her foster dad is encouraging her to expand her horizons and she is now enjoying long walks, squeeky toys, butt scratches, belly rubs and cuddles on the couch and bed. She has mastered basic commands like "sit" and will now "wait" before eating her meal or exiting. They are working on "paw", "lay" and "stay". She appears to be potty trained and has not had any accidents in her foster home. Danni had some past resource guarding tendencies so she should not go to a home with smaller kids. She does tend to startle with loud noises and requires reassurance to settle down and relax in the car. She does not seem to like other dogs but if her foster dad has her engaged in a game of fetch she is able to ignore the neighbor's dog barking at her. While Danni may be a bit anxious at first, she connects deeply with humans who show her compassion, patience, attention and have a good arm! Hi I'm Maximus (Max) and I LOVE life! I am a happy guy and everyone is my friend whether they talk, bark or meow. Ok, the meows kind of scare me so I may avoid them. I'm an Australian Cattle Dog puppy and am about 9-10 months old and 37 pounds, and I am open to lots of guidance and love learning because I'm super smart! I'd love to share life's adventures and lots of snuggles with you and when I'm old enough can even be a running buddy! If you have a fenced in yard then woohoo I love outside play time! My favorite things are to play with other dogs, play with toys, chew on bones, belly rubs, cuddles and to sleep in the arms of my foster mama! I live with dogs from 35 pounds to 160 pounds, love kids, and as for cats but they scare the dickens out of me...and, although, I'm not sure what the dickens is, you can be I try to ignore them! I'd be super duper happy if you have another dogs to help wear me out as I'm a medium to high energy boy and then settle in with my people! Also, I'm such a good boy when lights go out so do I and sleep through the night! I'm potty trained and pretty much crate training. I'll go in fine but don't really love it so may cry for a few minutes. My foster mom ignores me, so I do eventually quiet down but NO APARTMENTS please ! Also, since I am a puppy I still get so excited I still jump but am working hard on that and try really hard to please! My hobby is training/learning and I love working for treats. I'm really good at "sit" and "down", and am trying hard to "stay" even though my hiney keeps wiggling with joy. I promise to keep your home full of joy, love and goofiness so please pick me, pick me, pick me (visualize...my paw is currently up in the air)!!! Adopted Jan 2025. Was approx 5 months at that time. He is crate trained. Current vaccinations and heart wormed monthly with Simpatico. Must rehome due to two other small nervous dogs don’t tolerate his playfulness and herding. One of the smaller dogs has heart failure and special needs and is very sensitive to Ruger’s aggressive playfulness and size difference. Will send nice crate with him. He knows multiple commands and is very friendly. Loves to play ball. He does have a herding tendency which could be encouraged. I have to let him outside to potty separately from the smaller dogs as he likes to keep them on the patio. Ruger is a good dog just not a good fit for us with the two smaller dogs, one is highly anxious and the other having health problems. Free to good home.
