Hi, I`m Charlie!I`m a 2 year old mix looking for my forever home. Could you help me? I am a well-mannered dog and I show it by walking well on my leash and listening to commands. I know sit, down, and roll over! My favorite activity is playing fetch with a tennis ball and also eating lots of treats. I`m already neutered and up-to-date on my vaccines. All I need is a place to call home! Come see me at the shelter today!

Story
Angel is thought to be a red merle Australian cattle dog mix who is 3-4 years old. She must have been dumped as a young puppy as she is not socialized to humans. She was trapped while running with two larger dogs. The dogs hunted chickens and cats to survive. We are so grateful that Angel got into the trap because the other two dogs were shot and killed by irate neighbors. Angel is 28 lbs and very healthy. She is stout and compact and would be great as a hiking companion or just a good little dog to sleep in your bed. Angel is making slow progress in becoming a pet. We have built a good relationship, and I can touch her all over and pick her up. She is still not use to a leash, but she comes when called and is very obedient. She is very food motivated and that will be the key to continuing her socialization. Angel lives at a pet hotel and is exposed to many dogs each day. She is playful and confident with other dogs. When she first meets another dog, she wants to assert her dominance. She needs mild correction and then she can be off leash and playing in no time. Angel cannot be with cats. Angel is getting more and more accustomed to strangers every day. It takes time to develop a relationship with her. Let’s face it Angel needs some love. She will need a patient, competent leader to continue her progress. **Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vet visits, deworming, and shots. ** Adoption Application: mercyrescue.org

Story
Available for Adoption Hi there, I'm Brodie! I am a 1 year old male, who is full size at 35 pounds. My previous family ran a DNA test so we know that I am a Cattle Dog/Chihuahua mix with a dash of Coonhound and Brittany Spaniel. That explains a lot because I love to run and play! I have all the personality traits of a Heeler with the short legs of a Chihuahua. I am very social and love making new human or canine friends. I would love a home with another dog to play with! I also have great indoor manners and I will happily go into my kennel, especially if there are treats involved. I do wonderfully on a leash and get super excited when I see it brought out for walks. At the end of the day I love to sit on the couch beside you and rest on your lap. Adopting me means gaining a loyal friend who will always be there for you through thick and thin. I promise to make you laugh with my goofy side, and comfort you with my cuddly nature. I know that my perfect family is out there! You're welcome to email my foster home with any questions at julianshumate@gmail.com. Story
Hi there, I'm Maverick! I've been told I am a handsome 4 month old Cattle Dog with lots of growing to do. I am currently around 22 pounds but will likely be close to 50 just like my mom, Tai. I've got a knack for making everyone around me giggle with my goofy charm. I'm a quick learner too, already in a routine for house training and still eager to learn more! I love playing with toys, wrestling with other pups, and exploring my surroundings. I'm also a big fan of kisses, cuddles and being babied. I promise to bring joy and laughter to your home with my lively youthful charm! Adopting me means gaining a loyal friend who will always be there to cheer you up and stay by your side. You're welcome to email the foster home with any questions at julianshumate@gmail.com.
