Story
Tucker is around 6 months old and unfortunately our schedules have changed and we are not able to provide him the time and training we originally anticipated. He needs someone who is able to be with him the majority of the day or somewhere he is able to stay outside as he does not like the crate and will become destructive. This breed is a working breed so he needs to be able to be challenged physically and mentally . He is the sweetest boy, a great cuddle buddy and very much a one person dog! He has done great with other dogs however he does need a little bit to warm up to them, he has never been around cats so we are not sure how he would do.

Story
Meet Pearl, a Heeler mix spayed female one-year-old weighing 45 pounds spirited adult dog with a heart full of energy. This is one girl who is always ready for an adventure. This energetic canine is your perfect walking partner, always eager to explore new paths. She`s an adult, but don`t let that fool you into thinking she`s any less playful. Pearl knows how to sit on command and greets everyone with a friendly `howdy` of her own. She`s house and crate trained, making her an easy addition to any home. But don`t let her vivacious nature fool you, Pearl is just as happy being a couch potato, proving that she can be the perfect balance of energetic and laid-back. She`s a loyal companion, always keen to follow you wherever you go, making her the perfect addition to any family. She got a heart full of love to give, and adopting her means opening your home to that boundless affection and companionship. All our fosters are part of the family. Fenced in yard is required. Please be patient as I go through applications, as it can take up to a week. Thanks so much! For more information contact Donna at huffmandhsow@gmail.com or Please fill out the application at https://humanesocietyofwilkes.org/adopt/application/donnah (copy and paste the application link) thanks. Please fill out the form completely and submit. You will receive confirmation when your application is received by the foster parent, this could take several days. If you don’t receive confirmation in at least three days please email the foster family in the above email.

Story
Look at this beautiful girl! Rue is a young adult Red Heeler/Cattle Dog. Rue is a little shy at first, but you'll soon find that she is a loving, sweet and playful girl. Rue loves to play with balls and her squeaky toys. Rue is house trained and knows a few commands (sit and fetch). Rue gets along beautifully with dogs of her own size or larger. She does not get along with small dogs. We did cat test Rue and she appears to be indifferent to cats. With supervision in the beginning, we think Rue will do fine with cats. Rue is approximately 40 lbs and her foster says that her fur is very soft. Rue's DOB: 6/1/23 Adoption fee is $175. Rue is spayed and current on vaccines. If interested in adopting Rue, please fill out an adoption application: https://new.shelterluv.com/form/other/MFAR/42224-mfar-adoption-application
