SCAN QR CODE FOR FULL BIO Meet Dubs. This sweet boy is approximately 7 months old. He was discovered tied up to our dumpster one cold December morning... but he is now ready to find his own family! Unfortunately, Dubs is living in a run at the clinic; therefore, we do not know how he does in a home environment. He is extremely affectionate and social, he insists on going out with every dog during potty breaks so he doesn't miss a chance to play! He can definitely live with other furry friends without issue. He loves toys of all kinds and is very eager to learn :) All available dogs are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, on monthly preventative and given a broad spectrum dewormer. The adoption fee for each dog is $250.00. If you would like to apply for this or any other animal, please contact Misty at Woodlake Animal Hospital: angelfundokc@gmail.com 405-721-6604.

Story
SCAN QR CODE FOR FULL BIO Dede is approximately ten years-old, thirty pounds, and appears to a cattle dog mix. She’s a super sweet girl, but is very scared in new situations. Because of that, she needs an owner who will let her come out of her shell on her time. The first couple of days in her foster home, she mainly just wanted to stay in her crate with the door open. Dede would venture out, but if human or dog moved too quickly, she’d run back to the safety of her “den”. After about a week though, she was feeling a lot more confident and was out and about with the other dogs with no issue. She has been the perfect dog since. Housebroken - check! Housetrained – check! Good with other dogs once she knows them – check! She’s very sweet and loving once she knows you, although children make her nervous. But I think she would be the perfect match for an older person who needs a companion dog. If you would like to meet sweet Dede, please fill out the application!

We went from a happy life with dogs and a good backyard to nothing. In 2020 my stepfather was diagnosed with liver failure and was only given 2 years to live. We didn't have good insurance and the only way we could keep it was if my mother stayed home full-time to be his caretaker. When he passed away in 2022, my mother could not find a job since she had a year-and-a-half-long gap on her resume, because of this, we had to sell our house and move in with my grandparents in June of 2023. Since then our dogs have been well taken care of with*****I am a student living in the dorms and unfortunately can not take them back. My dogs are the most important thing to me and I want them to live out a long, healthy life where they are loved.  Sara is a mixed-breed dog, We adopted her from the Norman Animal Shelter in 2014. We had no prior history of her or how she ended up in the shelter, all we know is that she was no older than 6 months when we adopted her. My stepdad adopted her and she very quickly became a fantastic dog to have around. She loves cuddles and is extremely protective over who she loves.  Ruff is also a mixed-breed dog, We adopted him from Rose Rock Veterinary in 2018 when he was 16 weeks. He had been found on the side of the road with many injuries. My stepfather had a soft spot for him and brought him home. We were told he has disabilities that he might never recover from. He can barely see out of his left eye but other than that he has made a full recovery over the past 5 years.  Both of these dogs would be amazing companions to have and deserve a long-loved life. THESE dogs do not have to be adopted together.https://form.jotform.com/193595080362159 PLEASE! DO NOT APPLY UNTIL THE DAY BEFORE YOU CAN PICK THE DOG UP!!! or it will likely be adopted before you get here IF YOU ARE SEEING IT, IT IS AVAILABLE !. My site is updated daily.  All dogs carry an adoption fee which helps to pay for deworming, flea control, spay/neuter, HW test vaccinations and to fix any ailments they may have. The fee is usually less than the vet work they have had. Thank You for considering adoption. Once approved and an appointment set, I will send directions SORRY I DO NOT SHIP DOGS FOR THE SAFETY AND COMFORT OF MY DOGS I DO REQUIRE ALL DOGS IN THE HOME BE SPAYED AND NEUTERED!   May 3, 2024, 9:33 am

Story
Nick came to us from the OKCShelter euthanasia list. He was chosen for euthanasia because he was displaying stress in the shelter and they needed the room. Nick is very playful and has a lot of energy. He gets along well with other dogs and likes to fetch and play tug of war. He'd do very well with children in the 7 and up range simply because he does LOVE running. He'd do well hiking and traveling too. He's good in the car and crate trained. We'd love to hear from you and schedule a meet and greet
