Story
Please meet Miss Haven! Haven is an approximately 5-year old female Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix and weighs around 70 lb. She was adopted as a puppy and returned as an adult when the adopter no longer had time for her. Haven is very affectionate and loves her adult people! Once she is comfortable with her environment, she is playful and social. She is very loyal. Haven is not a fan of children (we think they just make her nervous) or most other dogs, especially energetic dogs. She would probably be fine with a calmer male dog, but she needs to meet any dog in the household prior to adoption. HOME CHECK AND STOCKADE FENCE REQUIRED! Haven is crate, house, and leash trained. She is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. If you would like to adopt Haven and make her a part of your family, please apply at FYDRadopt.com

Story
This little cutie is Ava! Ava is an approximately 9-month-old Cattle Dog mix who will weigh 35-45 lbs. as an adult. She was rescued with her mom and siblings from a local shelter. Ava is affectionate and playful, loves to cuddle with both humans and other dogs, enjoys playing with toys and chewing on sticks. Ava likes to be near her human and wants to curl up beside you in the evening. She plays well with other dogs and seems to choose the adult dogs over her siblings as playmates. She will play on her own sometimes. She can be sassy at times. Ava would do best with another playful dog in the home. She would love a home where she is included in activities and shown lots of attention and love. She knows how to use a pet door and goes easily into her pen. She enjoys treats. Ava will need continued assistance with house and leash training. Ava is spayed, current on age-appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. To adopt Ava, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply.

⚠️ Warning: Heidi’s Happiness Is Contagious! 🐾✨ Looking for a happy-go-lucky, tail-wagging, toy-loving bundle of joy? Meet Heidi, a 3.5-year-old Cattle Dog mix who weighs a perfect 30 lbs of pure sweetness and fun! Heidi has it all — the smarts, the sweetness, and the personality that makes you smile from ear to ear. She doesn’t know a stranger and will happily say hello to everyone she meets with a wagging tail and puppy-dog eyes. 🐶💛 She’s also got a playful streak! Heidi loves her toys and can keep herself entertained for hours, but she also knows when it’s time to find her perfect nap spot and recharge her batteries: quiet, cozy, and uninterrupted. Heidi=Perfect Balance ❤️ At home, she’s a total dream. She gets along with other dogs, roams freely around the house without a fuss, and sleeps all night long like a perfect little angel. She’s smart, learning her basic commands quickly, and is ready for adventures in a secure, fenced backyard where she can run, explore, and soak up all the good vibes. Heidi is housebroken and uses a doggie door at her foster home (she may need a little patience in a home without one). Heidi comes fully ready for her forever family: ✅ Spayed ✅ Up to date on Vaccines ✅ Current on heartworm preventative ✅ Microchipped 💲 Adoption fee: $250 If you want a dog who brightens every room she walks into, keeps you laughing, and melts your heart in equal measure, Heidi is the one.
