Story
Meet Toast!Toast came from a rough start, so he’s still working on building his confidence, but give him a little time (and some treats), and you’ll see just how eager and loving he can be. He is a classic working dog: active, driven, and happiest when he has a job to do. He loves training, is super food motivated, and would thrive with someone who enjoys keeping his mind and body busy. Toast is looking to be your one and only pup for now, but he’s open to meeting dog-savvy teens and possibly even cats with slow introductions. If you`re interested in meeting Toast, he is located at the Pennsylvania SPCA Danville Center on Bloom Rd. We are open daily from 12:00 - 6:00pm and no appointment is needed. Please bring everyone who lives in your home and any current dogs with proof of up to date vaccinations. If you have any questions about him, feel free to call the shelter at 570-275-0340 or email danville@pspca.org.-Pennsylvania SPCA Danville Center1467 Bloom Road Danville PA 17821Kennel# 2909

Story
Meet Archie, He is a three year-old Australian Cattle Dog (Red Heeler). Archie is a sweet and energetic young dog, he is always ready to run, fetch a ball, or play tug-o-war. He is very affectionate with his owner. He likes cats, but does not have much interaction with other dogs and is generally aloof, he can sometimes be reactive when on a leash toward other dogs and strangers. He is house broken, crate trained and knows some basic commands such as "Sit" and "Drop it" He is highly food motivated and is easily won over with a treat. Archie is neutered and up to date on his shots. He is a medium sized dog at about 35-38lbs. He was born on an Amish farm in Lancaster County in January 2023, I have had him since he was approximately 8 weeks old. Since he is a working dog, he requires lots of exercise, a yard is preferred but he currently lives in an apartment.

Story
Oakley is a 3 year old 40 lb. spayed female hound mix! She is fully vaccinated and we will microchip her! She is dog selective but if you have another dog you can do a meet n greet in the Foster's home in Benton, Pa 17814. She is Cat friendly but likes to chase, but never hurt a cat in the past. Original owner had to surrender her because owner had to move to place that would not allow pets. Oakley is high energy outside and likes to run and chase balls and toys. But she is calm inside! House and crate trained! Sleeps in her crate at night. Was Lyme positive previously, but was already treated and now vaccinated for Lyme. She is kid friendly too! She deserves a loving home! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Oakley please text me Casey at 570-441-0083. We adopt to the general public but we also adopt to military veterans with adoption fee waived in order to provide our heroes with companion or emotional support dogs . Our other adoptable pets our posted on our website as well as the very brief (5 minutes) application form. https://rescuepetsservingvets.org. ##2588462##

Story
This adorable litter is made up of five fun loving and carefree pups. Like most puppies their age, they have plenty of energy and they love to run and play with each other. They also love being around people…they are super friendly, happy and as playful as they can be. They get along great with other dogs & they are good with kids. She and her siblings were actually born here, so you could say that I’ve known them their whole life. Their Mom showed up at a nice couple’s home and they asked us if we could take her into our rescue. I noticed immediately that her waistline was pretty round and a couple of weeks later she graced us with these beautiful puppies. Their Mom is a small 32 pound Blue Heeler mix, but Dad was a traveling man, so not sure what he was. Aggie will make some lucky family a wonderful companion. She is 12 weeks old (dob 7/17/25) and weighs 16 pounds at the time of this posting (10/8/25). She has been spayed, microchipped, fecal tested, current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Aggie is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and her fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.
