Story
Alfie is a sweet (but shy) young cattle dog mix looking for a new home. He came to us with his sisters, Coralee and Anaalee, from a rescue in Mississippi! He is neutered and likes other dogs. Alfie needs someone with patience and understanding. He would do best with some positive training to help build his confidence. Alfie would be okay in a home with older teenagers. If you would like to adopt please fill out an application at www.hillsidespca.com. Alfie would require multiple visits before feeling comfortable with you.

Story
Meet Anna Anna is a 3 year old, pitbull mix who had a rough start to life being used over and over again for breeding purposes which has caused her to be a nervous lady in certain situations. She is in search of a forever home that can give her some stability. Anna would love nothing more than to live in the safety and comforts of a home with a family that will give her the love and attention she's always deserved. She will need an owner that is patient and understanding of her past; a low-traffic, adult only home where she could be the only pet would be ideal for her. She loves going for walks, playing with toys (she's a pro at fetch!) and getting belly rubs from staff. Anna is spayed, microchipped & up to date on vaccines. If you have a nice relaxing couch with an empty seat waiting to be filled- Go to our website: www.nokillarc.org to fill out a pre-approval form! (It can be found under the adoptable dogs section).

Story
Colt, the 1-2 year old Amish blue heeler, eagerly embarked on his Rumspringa... curious about life beyond the farm. He trotted over to surrounding neighbors, charming everyone with his playful antics and irresistible belly rub requests! But as he roamed, Colt quickly discovered that his true calling is in being a loyal companion and cuddle buddy. With a heavy heart, his owner surrendered him to the shelter, where Colt hopes to find a new family who can give him all the love and attention he craves. Colt walks very well on a leash, and is intelligent and eager to please-making him a great candidate for training and learning new tricks! He's a social butterfly who gets along well with other dogs, is gentle with children, and has passed our cat test (a meet and greet is required at our shelter for any canine siblings). Colt is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. If interested in adopting, please go to our website: www.nokillarc.org to fill out a pre-approval form (located under the ‘adoptable dogs' section).

Story
How did this precious young lady end up as a stray? It appears that someone had previously worked with her and perhaps even trained her to be an indoor pet. She shows a strong desire to make her humans happy and is eager to please. She loves all humans, even the really small ones. She does well with cats, cows and other dogs as well. She loves to go for rides in anything. Leash walks are a breeze for Angel, showcasing her excellent behavior. Whoever welcomes Angel into their home will undoubtedly find themselves incredibly fortunate. She has all the qualities of an exceptional companion. Angel is a happy, healthy girl who is ready for her forever home. Story
Oh boy, these babies are going to be a whole lot of fun! There are three adorable puppies in this litter and each one of them is just as friendly, happy and loving as they can be. They are carefree, playful puppies and love nothing more than running around playing, napping and playing again. They also love people and they will come running as fast as they can, seeking a little of that one-on-one attention. All Motley needs now is a fun and active family to call his own. Motley was born 12/27/23 making him 12 weeks old and weighing 16 pounds at the time of this posting (3/26/24). He has been completely vetted, including neuter, microchip, fecal test, all vaccinations, worming and he is on heartworm and flea prevention. He gets his last shot on 4/8 & will be ready to travel any time after that. His adoption fee is $400. Motley is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine on this particular dog since we can’t adopt directly to those states.
