Harley #25273; male; blue heeler; estimated age 5 years; approximate weight 52lbs. Harley had lived with his dad since he was a puppy. He was loved and well cared for until his owner’s health failed and he could no longer care for him. This sweet boy came into the shelter just in time for Thanksgiving dinner! He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and wormer. He tested heart worm positive and is currently undergoing slow-kill treatment. He is asymptomatic and doing great. He is a little intimidated by the loud shelter, but is adjusting. He will make a great family dog.

Scarlett is a 3 month old Australian Cattle Dog/Lab mix. This little girl already has such a big personality. She likes being the boss amongst her siblings, she has loads of puppy energy, and she loves getting hugs and rubs from her humans. She is the biggest of her siblings. Not much is known about the first 8 weeks of life. Scarlett's mother was not able to get spayed and Scarlett's litter was not planned. The owner could not afford to care for the puppies, so they came into our care at 8 weeks old. Scarlett doesn't have much experience in this world yet. She is waiting for that special someone to teach her the ropes and help her navigate this world alongside us humans. Scarlett is up to date on all age appropriate vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption price is $175, with $75 being refundable upon proof of the rest of her vaccinations and spayed. We will send a $50 voucher with her to help towards the spaying procedure.

Oreo was adopted in 2024. April 2025, Oreo came to us as a foster for his owners to move and get settled in so Oreo could go back to his owners. Unfortunately, we have not been able to contact his owners in 3 months. Oreo, aka Thin Crisp is a great companion. Oreo is house and crated trained. He knows obedience commands in Spanish and English. He loves to go for walks, hiking, boat, and car rides. We know Oreo misses his family, as he was the only dog who received all the love, snuggles, attention, and led a very active lifestyle. Oreo is friendly with people. He is great with other dogs when introduced properly. He has learned a lot while in our care. He also loves to climb trees as he chases squirrels in the backyard. He settles down when he comes inside. He loves his toys and does not chew on them. We would love to see Oreo go to an active family that would take him to do all things he loves.
