Story
Fritz came to us with 2 other cattle dog mixes and has been a great dog since he's been with us. He has energy and loves to run and play with people and all his friends, but he is also very gentle and will just melt into your arms for a hug. Fritz sits and waits for someone to call his name and give him some pets. He would love the opportunity to have a home and people of his own. Fritz has gotten along well with all of the dogs he has encountered, and we believe will make a perfect new family member.July 15, 2026, 12:20 pm

Story
Meet Chip, a handsome 1.5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix weighing in at about 43 pounds, and he’s proof that resilience comes with a wagging tail. After suffering a severe injury to his right hind foot, Chip underwent a right hind leg amputation. While his story could have slowed him down, Chip never got the memo—he embraces life with enthusiasm, confidence, and a joyful spirit. This smart, happy boy loves to please his people and already knows several commands. Loyal to the core, Chip enjoys being part of the family and wants to be included in all the fun. Whether it’s hopping in the car for an adventure, playing with his favorite toys, or simply lounging nearby soaking up affection, Chip is happiest when he’s close to the people he loves. Chip is house trained, crate trained, and has excellent manners around other animals. He peacefully ignores cats and even his foster family’s parrot. He takes his job as family watchdog seriously and will let you know when someone is at the door—or when a doorbell rings on TV! Friendly with children and full of love to give, Chip is looking for a family that will appreciate his intelligence, loyalty, and affectionate nature. His missing leg doesn’t define him; it simply highlights his determination and zest for life. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will stick by your side through every adventure, Chip may be the perfect match. If you are interested in learning more about Chip please fill out the adoption application found on our MARC website www.marc4change.org Chip's adoption fee is $275.00

COURTESY LISTINGDALLAS is a courtesy listing, not in the AARF foster program, and we are posting online to help the owner find a home for them. Please visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply. Dallas has a smile that can brighten your whole day, especially when he sees the leash come out and knows it's time for an adventure. This handsome Australian Cattle Dog mix is about 7 years old, weighs 42 pounds, and still has plenty of pep in his step. Dallas loves being with his people and seems happiest when he's included in whatever the day has in store. Whether it's a walk around the neighborhood, a car ride, a training session for treats, or simply relaxing nearby, he's ready to be your loyal companion. Dallas is a smart boy who knows several commands including sit, down, come, wait, and off. He even catches treats in midair. He is perfectly housetrained, crate trained and quickly learned how to use a dog door in his foster home. He walks nicely on a leash, rides quietly in the car, and enjoys exploring the yard in search of squirrels or other exciting things to watch. He has adjusted wonderfully to life with his foster family's dogs and enjoys playing and chasing with them. Dallas has done well meeting new people and dogs with a proper introduction. He is not a fan of cats and would likely be happiest in a home without feline roommates. Dallas is being rehomed after being deeply loved by his longtime owners, who made the difficult decision because of health challenges of their own. Through it all, Dallas has remained the affectionate, devoted dog he's always been. Contact us for more information on adopting Dallas.   Interested in adopting? (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative.
