Story
Sherman entered our rescue back in July after he had been hit by a vehicle and left to die. We were contacted by the local Sheriffs office about him, and immediately got him to our vet. He was pretty immobile, and had suffered some serious injuries. After spending a week at the vet, not sure if he was ever going to be able to move again, he started making progress, so he came home with us. After several months of rehab and excercise, Mr. Sherman went from needing to be carried outside to go potty, to wearing a diaper, and eventuially standing and walking on his own. He has gone through so much for such a young pup, but his desire to live and eagerness to be part of a family and be loved has never stopped. He has put on weight, runs and plays with the other dogs, and is really good at going outisde to go potty. Sherman will most liekly always be a special needs dog, as we think he suffered some permanent neurological damage during the accident. He still limps a little on his right side, and doesn't always appear to see or hear perfectly from his right side either, but it doesn't stop him from having fun and wanting to play. Sherman is very active, and would do great in a home with a big fenced yard for him to run and play in. He gets along great with other animals, including cats, and is very friendly with the neighborhood kids ##2196429##

Story
Luna is a pure bred black-tri colored Standard Australian Shepard. She is almost 3 years old, is a very loving and affectionate pup. She’s great with other dogs, adults and kids of all ages. Unsure is cats as we don’t have any but has never once shown aggression of any type. She is high energy and loves to go on runs and fetch! She is a working dog that would love a home with some space or a large yard! She comes with a kennel, leash, collar, harness, and pedigree. We are fostering her for a family that decided they couldn’t keep her after moving. Her rehoming fee is negotiable, we just want her to go to a loving family.

Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Dino, a high-energy, wiggly, and eager-to-please Australian Shepherd mix with a sleek black coat. At just over a year old and weighing 50 lbs, he's always ready for fun and affection. His whole body wiggles with excitement, right down to his little nub tail, and he absolutely loves flopping over for belly rubs. He knows how to sit and will go into his crate for a treat. Being food-motivated, he’s eager to learn more commands. Housetrained, he does well with both a fenced yard and leash walks. While he doesn’t love the crate, he settles in and sleeps when needed. Dino enjoys playing fetch, running with other dogs, and getting as much attention and petting as possible. He prefers not to be left alone but simply expresses this by barking. He has a big, loud bark and he does like to talk at times. He also has a happy voice when he's excited and getting belly rubs. Dino gets along well with other dogs, is polite to cats, and has been reported to do well with kids. He takes a few minutes to warm up to new people, but quickly becomes a lovebug. On leash, he’s still learning manners but enjoys his walks. He rides fine in the car but may need a little help getting in. Dino would thrive in an active home where he gets plenty of exercise and, ideally, has a dog friend to play with. Interested in bringing Dino into your heart and home? (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. April 5, 2025, 10:14 pm

Story
Bunny is 7 years old with a history of neglect and trauma which is why she is best suited for a single pet house that can give her lots of love. She loves adventures from rides in the car, walks, etc. as long as she doesn't have to play with other dogs. Her favorite pastime is sitting next to you in the couch. She will stay there forever. She is spayed and up to date on all shots. No health concerns. She is potty trained and we are working to get her kennel trained. Please consider adopting this precious girl. I have been fostering her for a couple of weeks and she is so affectionate and loving. I just cannot keep her because of my cats.

Story
Meet Bear, a sweet and gentle soul who has been through a lot but is now ready to embrace his new life with a little more joy and confidence. Originally adopted in 2023, Bear’s journey took a surprising turn when he was recently found as a stray. Despite the challenges he’s faced, Bear remains calm, resilient, and eager to find his place in the world. In his kennel, Bear is a model of tranquility. He’s the kind of dog who enjoys his quiet moments, content to curl up and relax without making much noise or fuss. His calm demeanor makes him a great companion for anyone looking for a laid-back, peaceful dog. Treats? Bear is all about them! He’s a big fan of tasty snacks and is quick to show his appreciation with his gentle, sweet nature. His love for treats is also helping him adjust and learn new things—he’s motivated and eager to please, which makes training sessions a lot of fun. While Bear is still learning how to interact and play with other dogs, he’s making great strides. His playful side is slowly emerging, and with a little patience and encouragement, Bear is becoming more comfortable in social situations. He may need some time to get fully comfortable with new dog friends, but he’s showing promise and is open to making new canine companions. Bear is a quiet, kind, and loving dog who deserves a forever home where he can continue to heal, grow, and share his gentle spirit. If you’re looking for a calm, treat-loving buddy who’s slowly discovering the joy of playtime and companionship, Bear could be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
She was an owner surrender on 3-1-23 & is ready for her furever home. Xena LOVES going on car rides! She has alot of energy when on a leash & wants to explore. We believe she is a border collie/shepard mix. She's 63lbs, utd on shots, & spayed. Also thinking she's about 3yo & HW negative. She does good with people & enjoys playing fetch all day. She wants someone who can let her run & play & let her rest at the end of the day cuddled up with lots of love! She is little shy at first but is very eager to please. SUPER SMART!! Xena prefers to be the ONLY animal so she can soak up all the attention! Would do EXCELLENT in Agility. Has been through basic obedience classes!
