Disclaimer: I'm currently enjoying the Texas sun, but the best part is that I can be transported to my forever home once adopted. The transport fee is $230, and I'll be on my way to join your family!Let me introduce you to Solavina, a bundle of sweetness and intelligence! This smart girl is all about belly rubs and quality time with her favorite person. While she might show a bit of barrier aggression with new dogs, here's the exciting news: once she's in the same pen, she gets along just fine with her furry pals. But here's the thing—Solavina has a heart that leans towards her human companions more than other dogs. When it comes to commands, she's a pro at ""sit"" and ""stay,"" showcasing her cleverness. And at night, she's content to snooze away in an open kennel, peacefully dreaming of her forever family. If you believe you're the perfect match for Solavina and can provide her with the love and care she deserves, don't hesitate to apply today. Let's make her dreams of a loving forever home come true!*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
Welcome Tinker Bell to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 3-month-old Cattle Dog/Aussie is our best guess. She weighs about 17 pounds. She is smart, very attentive and good in a car. She plays with 4 bigger dogs in her foster home and does great. She is potty trained, crate trained and can use the doggie door. We would love someone that knows the breed to adopt. She is a very loyal and smart pup. She will be a joy to work with and people that love this breed will love this pup. It is also best for someone that is bringing in a puppy to have time in their schedule to spend with their new family member and not work 8 hours a day. Tinker Bell likes other dogs so another dog would be great because it would allow her to have a companion when you are gone. She thinks of the crate as her safe space so she will want one in her new home. She is good with nail trims and not aggressive with her food. She isn’t a big shedding dog and very affectionate. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older and the family to be familiar with the cattle dog breed. She is vaccinated, spayed, healthy and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful tranporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Ginny to CCPAL Rescue. Ginny is about 5.5 months old. She looks like an Australian Cattle dog and maybe a white Boxer. She came from one of the local animal controls that was out of space and made pleas to local rescues to step up. CCPAL stepped up for her and her sister Abigail. She is really sweet, good with other dogs, good in her crate and a little bit shy. We are working on her leash manners but it looks like it is the first time she has been on leash. She will need a gentle training handler and she corrects easily. She is very willing to do what you want and very gentle when she is happy. This is a nice quality and with a tiny bit of direction will be an amazing adult dog. Someone that has the time, is gentle and patient would be her best home. She is nice to all people including strangers. She should be about a 50-pound dog full grown. Thin and tall but about 50 pounds is our best guess. Her coat is soft and she is not a big shedding dog. She is getting spayed and vaccinated and will be ready for her forever home soon. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Astrid to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 2.5-year-old Cattle Dog and Lab mix maybe. She was adopted as a puppy and returned as an adult. She is now a bit of a timid adult. She is potty trained and good in a crate. We think she may not have stayed home a lot as a puppy and didn’t get the interactions with other people that they need as a puppy. She is timid of new people but she is a nice dog. She is not over the top active and would be fine with a moderately active family. I think her best home is as an only dog where it is quiet and she can get all the attention. She would be great with a person that has a quieter home and is more of a stay home kind of person and doesn’t care that their dog also wants to be a home body. She would be best with someone that doesn’t want a social butterfly but just seeks companionship. She would be fine around children. I would say older like 10 or more. A retired single or couple would be her ideal pick if she could talk. She is healthy, vaccinated and spayed and ready for her forever home. She can be adopted locally in Texas where she is with the rescue. We can also use one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180.
