***CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN THE COFFEE WOOD CANINE TRAINING PROGRAM Rebel was surrendered to the shelter along with his sister when their owner could no longer care for them. Rebel's sister has been adopted and Rebel is hoping to find his FUREVER home! Rebel is a 7 month old Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador mix. He is shy and smart little boy. Rebel had always lived outside so he will need patience and time as he learns the joy of being an inside puppy and learning the household routines, like potty training!!!! Rebel is an active boy that just needs a little time to feel comfortable in new situations. Rebel has been neutered, microchipped and Heartworm tested. We have updated all vaccines including rabies. Story
Sunny is 1 year and 3 months old. Born on January 1, 2024. He is very loving, affectionate, and intelligent. He picks up on new rules quickly, most of the problems I experienced with him were due to my novice dog training skills and not having much consistent time to spend with him and get him socialized. He really loves other dogs, and I've never seen him be aggressive. I cant keep him because I am moving and will be away from home every single day, for much longer than 8 hours. if you want a dog whos extremely attentive and always ready to play then Sunny is right for you

Story
Stella is a sweet and gentle 5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with a heart as big as her soft, soulful eyes. Though she can be shy at first, once she gets to know you, Stella will shower you with love, cuddles, and plenty of sweet kisses! Stella came to us from a difficult dog-hoarding situation where she lived with over 15 other dogs. This high-stress environment left her needing time to feel safe and comfortable in new surroundings. But once she warms up, her affectionate and loyal nature truly shines. One of Stella’s favorite activities is running and playing in our Bark Park with her kennel mate, Thumper, and her buddy, Oswald. She seems to do well with other dogs but appreciates a patient introduction to let her trust and confidence grow. Stella is already spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, so she’s ready to go to her forever home! It’s important to note that Stella has luxating patellas (loose kneecaps) in both her back legs, a condition that may require surgery as she gets older. Stella does have an anti-inflammatory that she takes when her knees "act up." This condition may also cause arthritis to set in earlier in life. Despite this, she remains active, happy, and full of life! If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will reward your patience with endless love and devotion, Stella could be the perfect match. Meet Pumpkin! She is a 5 yr old Australian cattle dog in search of a new home. She is still full of energy,loyal and sweet. She loves walks, fetch and a rainy day inside. She is good with children and would make an excellent only pet although with the right family another dog would not be a deal breaker. Meet Salty! 🐾 This adorable 5-month-old Australian Cattle Dog mix is as lovable as they come! Salty is a playful, social pup who adores cuddles and thrives on affection. He's the perfect mix of sweet and spunky, ready to bring joy to his forever family. Salty is good with most dogs but may do best as the only dog in the home since he can get a little possessive of his person. That said, this may improve in a quieter home with fewer dogs than we have here at the rescue. He's great with kids, loves people, and is a friendly little guy with no known allergies or bite history — just normal puppy antics! Salty is house-trained, microchipped, and in good health. He's still waiting to be neutered, but we're working on scheduling that. With his medium energy level, Salty would love a home with a yard and a secure 4-foot fence where he can play safely. He's expected to reach about 30-35 lbs when fully grown — the perfect size for a cuddle buddy! Salty is currently in foster care at Sunny Bear Rescue, but he's still looking for a foster or forever home. If you're ready for a pup who will love you endlessly, Salty might just be your perfect match. 💙
