Story
Albus is a beautiful and outgoing Australian Cattle Dog mix (DNA results in photos) that came to Murci's Mission after being found wandering in southern Stevens County. He was adopted for about 1 year and has returned to us as his adopter's health has changed. He is pure white with a black speckled tummy and nose. He has an estimated birthdate of 03/16/2021.  Albus is extremely fun to be around with a ton of amazing skills, and he is "turn key ready" meaning he can come home and live in your house without being immediately destructive, anxious, overly vocal etc. He is a seasoned traveler, logging thousands of miles by car and hundreds of miles walking through the city of Spokane and surrounding recreational trails. He has MAJOR best friend ever potential and we cannot understand why nobody has nabbed such an epic dog yet.  Albus is responsive to his handler, knows sit and wait, is fully potty trained, crate trained, and is reliable on and off leash, currently only off leash tested in areas with minimal external distractions. He has been to multiple training sessions and has excellent obedience skills. Albus is a big personality and he would accel with a family that has dog experience and likes to adventure, or in a working or sport home. He's a try anything kind of dog who is capable of any physical activity. He has successfully raced and carries a lifetime registry with AOK9, a branch of R.A.C.E. racing and coursing enthusiasts. The team at Murci's Mission would gladly help a future adopter learn about racing and how to take Albus to race if they were interested.  https://www.racingandcoursingenthusiasts.com/ Albus's ideal family would be an adventurous one that likes taking lots of trips and including him in all of their fun. He is dog friendly and enjoys playing with dogs, and he has lived with cats his whole life but will need a very confident cat, or cat free home because he thinks it's a great passtime to pester and chase the cats. He will need a home with older dog savvy kids due to his energy and drive levels.  Albus is willing to try anything and do whatever it takes to be a great member of his future family. He would be wonderful at agility, disk, flyball, lure coursing, barn hunt, dock diving, or really anything else that he could have a heck of a good time doing with his guardian.  Albus comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. His adoption fee is $200. To be considered to adopt, please go to www.murcismission.org and send in an application.  ##1089775##

Adoptions by appointment only. Visit www.companionsanimalcenter.org ADOPT to view our adoption process. My name is Paisley! I am a great girl with lots of love! I can be shy when it comes to new people and new environments. Once we get to know each other, we will be best friends! My previous owners stated that I always potty outside and I have been around respectful children. I also know some basic commands. I have some anxiety when I am left alone so I would prefer to be with an owner who is home most of the time. I'm ready to snuggle up and play in the yard! Before considering adding me to your life, please make sure you have the appropriate amount of time, space, and resources available to care for me for my lifetime.
