Animal Information: Waylon and Winnie were surrendered to Haven Humane Society at 1 week old and rescued by one of our California partners. They have grown up in a home with dogs, cats, kids, horses and other livestock. Mama was only 40lbs, but we don't know who dad was. These puppies are friendly, playful and so very sweet. Foster Profile: Waylon is such a sweet goofy puppy. He is a total puppy, curious about everything while stumbling over chasing his tail after grabbing a random sock. He is gentle and great with kids, dogs, and other creatures (he has been around cats and chickens). He is great with pottying outside, and sleeps through the night in his crate. He is working on leash training, but loves his walks and smelling all the smells. He would make a wonderful addition to any active home. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter (on contract, if applicable), core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. There’s a gentle, thoughtful quality about her that makes everyone she meets fall a little bit in love. She’s wonderfully social and has gotten along beautifully with every dog she’s met, and she’s always eager to make new friends, both canine and human. Winnie is doing fantastic with potty training on a consistent schedule, is comfortable in her crate, and sleeps peacefully through the night. She rides well in the car and has shown a remarkably gentle demeanor, even when spending time with a toddler. This girl would thrive in a family that appreciates large breed dogs. She would be perfectly happy as an only dog or with a canine sibling to share her days. We are a litter of 8, and our rescue story had lots of surprises! What started as a call to save 4 puppies quickly turned into a full-on puppy treasure hunt. Surprise! There were even more of us hiding under a storage container… and our sweet mama too! With some yummy food and gentle coaxing, we were all scooped up and brought to safety together.
