Story
Meet Jesse! Jesse came to us after being found as a stray and brought to Cadott Vet Clinic. The clinic held onto Jesse for several weeks while searching for an owner and later trying to find him a home. During that time, they made sure Jesse was neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Unfortunately, a home didn’t come together, so Jesse was transferred to our care. While at the clinic, staff were able to learn quite a bit about Jesse. He appears to do well with other dogs, though slow introductions are recommended. Jesse will chase cats, so a cat-free home would be best. He has been around older children (ages 9–11) and has done well with them. Jesse is an active, loving dog who is always on the go. He loves to play ball (as long as it’s larger than a tennis ball), rides well in the car, and is very food motivated, which makes him a great candidate for continued training. Jesse is estimated to be around 4 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to find a home that can match his energy and give him the love he deserves.

Story
Meet Bandit 🐾 — a 7-month-old cattle dog mix with a heart as big as his adorable ears. Bandit is a sweet, playful pup who truly shines when he’s around others. He loves the companionship of other dogs and is dog, kid, and cat friendly, making him a great fit for many types of homes. He’s already house trained and crate trained, so he’s off to a great start with his manners. This little guy has a nurturing, gentle side and absolutely loves being close to his people. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be part of the family. Bandit did experience a couple of seizures early on, which were evaluated by a veterinarian. He is now doing very well on medication, and his seizures are well controlled. His medication will need to be continued long term, but it hasn’t slowed him down one bit—he’s still the happy, loving, playful puppy he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a sweet soul and a lot of love to give, Bandit may be your perfect match. 💙 Bandit is fostered in Spring Grove, MN. Apply for Bandit at www.tailsofhopewi.org! Please note donations using the SPONSOR ME tab on PetFinder will not go to Tails of Hope-WI.

Story
Meet Darla! Darla came to CCHS as a stray from the township of Fremont earlier this January. This pretty Red Heeler is about a year and a half old and weighs roughly 35.2lbs currently. Darla is an absolute ray of awkward sunshine! She is such a smart gal but didn't quite grasp onto the social skills so she hopes you can look past her being a bit forward with her affection! Darla is a tad protective of her food, so she'd prefer being the only dog in the home to avoid her anxiety around sharing. With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the dog. Apply for Darla today! You can go to cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt or bit.ly/CCHSadopt. Thank you!

Meet Julieta! Julieta came to CCHS with her 7 siblings towards the beginning of January from a local farm. This cute Heeler mix is about 8 weeks old and just a pocket-sized lovergirl! Julieta is a sassy gal that can't help but be forward with her affection! Julieta would love a confident playmate that understands how strong her love can be! While we aren't entirely certain what her exact breed makeup is, we can tell you she is 100% Dulce Compañía! With any puppy, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. Apply for Julieta today! You can go to cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt or bit.ly/CCHSadopt. Story
Meet Sully (fka Watson)! Sully originally came to CCHS with his brother, Sherlock, earlier this February from a local farm. He was adopted out shortly after that and brought back this August as the kiddos in his home gave him quite the anxiety. This Heeler mix is about 8 months old and weighs 31.2lbs currently. Sully is a naturally inquisitive pup that always seems to have his nose to the ground! He is always seeking out a new adventure and would love to share his next one with you! Because of the high stress he experienced being surrounded by a multitude of small children in his first home, Sully would do better in a home with older kids that can be more mindful of his space. While we aren't entirely sure what his exact breed makeup is, we can tell you he is 100% your newest sidekick! With any puppy, training and socialization are incredibly important to the pup. Apply for Sully today!Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response. The adoption fee is $250. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS.
