We adopted her June,1,2024 and we love her. But I got unexpectedly pregnant and can’t keep up with her. She’s very sweet but likes to dig if she’s not kept busy.

Story
Princess Mia is a 5-6 month old pup with a story of strength, resilience, and an incredible capacity to love. Weighing about 33 lbs at her last vet visit, this sweet girl has already overcome more than most dogs ever should. At just 3 months old, Mia was thrown from a moving car and left behind with a broken leg, but today, you would never know it. She has healed beautifully and continues to shine brighter every single day. Mia is everything you could hope for in a young dog. She is energetic, playful, and full of life, while also being incredibly loving and affectionate. She adores her people and will happily shower you with kisses before curling up for cuddles. She’s also a very well-mannered and smart girl. Mia is crate trained and potty trained, and she will even go potty on command when asked. She knows commands like sit, is learning shake, and responds well to leave it. She is gentle when taking treats and truly aims to please. Mia loves playing with her ball and plush toys, enjoys both indoor and outdoor time, and is always ready for her next adventure. She walks well on a leash and is continuing to improve her skills every day. She’s also very intuitive and will let you know when she needs to go outside. She is friendly, social, and loves meeting new people, everyone who meets Mia falls in love with her. Her sweet, loyal nature makes her an incredible companion, and she will thrive in a home that can continue to guide her as she grows. Mia’s journey hasn’t been easy, but she hasn’t let that define her. Instead, she’s become a loving, joyful, and devoted pup who is ready to give her whole heart to a forever family. She is truly special and while she will be deeply missed by those who know her, we know her perfect home is out there waiting.

Story
Skeeter is a 5 year old, 35-40 lb Kelpie/Heeler mix who is guaranteed to steal your heart. She’s friendly, intelligent, and eager to be part of everything you do. True to her breeds, Skeeter is incredibly smart and highly trainable. She already knows a variety of commands including crate, place, stay, and hold, and is continuing to work on recall. She thrives on structure, praise, and positive reinforcement, and loves having a job or purpose in her daily routine. Skeeter would do best in an active home where they can give her opportunities to be mentally and physically engaged. Whether it’s walks, adventures, training sessions, or simply being involved in your day to day activities, she wants to be right there with you. She is great with other dogs and also enjoys spending time with other dogs and can happily switch between playtime and relaxing. Because of her herding instincts, Skeeter has a quirky but manageable habit, she can use her mouth to guide or redirect when she’s trying to communicate. It’s not aggressive, just her being a clever herding breed dog, but she will need a home committed to redirecting and continuing her training in this area. For this reason, Skeeter would do best in a home without small children, and with someone experienced or familiar with herding breeds who can provide consistency and guidance. If you’ve got a ranch, she’d be thrilled but it’s not required. What she truly needs is a home that understands her intelligence, gives her structure, and includes her in daily life. Skeeter is an all around incredible dog who is loyal, fun, smart, and full of personality. With the right person, she’s going to be an amazing companion.
