You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Kane's Comeback: From Tragedy to Triumph Sweet Kane has already lived through more in his young life than most dogs ever will. Struck by a car in a devastating head-on collision, Kane was left with a shattered jaw and a broken nostril. The impact nearly took his life — but this brave boy refused to give up. And neither did we. Thanks to the incredible team at TLC K9 Rescue, Kane was rushed into emergency care. Two CT scans revealed the extent of the trauma, and it was worse than anyone imagined: 21 embedded baby teeth and sharp bone fragments were trapped around his nasal passage, posing a serious risk of infection and further complications. Over the course of two intense surgeries, skilled veterinarians carefully removed every tooth and fragment, working tirelessly to give Kane the second chance he so clearly deserved. It was touch and go at times, but Kane’s resilience never wavered. Through every moment of pain, he wagged his tail, soaked up love, and showed us just how strong his spirit really is. Now, after weeks of healing, tender care, and a whole lot of love, Kane is not just surviving — he’s thriving. His jaw is healing beautifully. His breathing is clear. And most importantly, his heart is wide open, ready to finally experience the joy of a real forever home. Kane is a living reminder of what love, hope, and dedication can do. TLC K9 Rescue spared no expense and left no stone unturned to bring him back from the brink — and today, we are thrilled to announce: Kane is ready for adoption. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a heart as big as his comeback story, Kane might just be the one. Let’s give this special pup the happy ending he’s fought so hard to reach. Story
🌙 Meet Luna – Sweet, Splashy, and Slightly Selective About Her Roommates 🐾 Luna is as lovely as her name suggests—a gentle soul with a playful spirit and a love for all things fun. Her mom is an Australian Shepherd, and thanks to some very nosy humans (and a DNA test), we know dad was a pit mix. So she’s got brains, beauty, and bounce. Currently living in a foster home with a whole pack of pups, Luna fits right in... most of the time. There’s one dog she has the occasional food-fueled disagreement with—nothing dramatic, just the usual “Who ate my kibble?” squabble. Otherwise, she’s a social butterfly. Things Luna loves: 💦 Playing in the doggy pool like it's her personal spa 🎉 Jumping on the trampoline with the kids like she’s training for the Dog Olympics 🐶 Making furry and human friends (preferably ones who don’t steal her snacks) She’s spayed, sweet, and ready for a forever home—ideally one with loving people, fun activities, and maybe a few rules about mealtime manners.

Cherie is a fun, spunky, smiley girl! She is ready for whatever adventure or challenge, and would thrive in a home that kept her training constant or provided regular mental stimulation. :) She is a very smart dog, and has a bursting personality when she gets to know you. She can be a little shy with strangers initially, but the most practice she gets, the better she gets. She is currently working on her social skills with other dogs and small humans, as she isn't the most comfortable and doesn't really know what to do with them. Overall, Cherie may benefit most from a home with adults, and adults and older/teenage children. We feel with proper introduction, she will do well with other dogs as well. :)

Story
Romeo is an incredibly sweet, snuggly, and loving little guy - truly a wonderful dog, who we highly suspect is a small Australian Cattle Dog mix, possibly with Jack Russell Terrier (based on 2 other dogs found with him that we suspect are brothers to his twin, Romeo). He has been good with young children (3-6), done well with the other dogs he's met, and enjoys talking to and trying to play with 4 outdoor rescue kitties he can interact with through a fence line, so we think he will do quite well with a resident cat. He is INCREDIBLY sweet and loves snuggles, and just melts into your arms. He picks up training easily and joyfully. Based on his wonderful personality, he would do well in a variety of homes/situations, including families with kids, older adults or families, or as a therapy/emotional support dog or possibly service dog with the proper training. He is one of 4 boys abandoned together in a very rural neighbor's backyard and never claimed (it seems they were from a backyard breeding project, as other similar dogs were also found by others in the general area and owners never found). The finder was unable to keep them, as he had his own dogs and all 4 *can* climb chain link/welded wire. He and his assumed to be brothers (Rusty, Russell, and Rascal, the TerrieRs) then had a foster offer in Washington, where they were neutered and finished their vetting. Romeo is incredibly sweet and mildly shy/sensitive (he gives you looks like, "Am I doing this right? Am I a good boy?"), and loves to snuggle. He jumps with joy when you walk up to him, and just has the perfect mix of sweetness and playfulness - he could do well in a variety of home settings. He is crate trained, and has done well in a home with close supervision and interaction, but has not been left to free-roam the house unsupervised (between being 4 intact male dogs, and then crate rest after neuter), but we think he'd be very well-behaved. He has had no crate accidents, and let's people know when he would like to go out/go potty. Because he can climb chain link and welded wire, his main consideration is an adoptive home where he cannot climb out if momentarily bored or lonely, so preferred homes will have wood or vinyl fencing - he would also do well in an apartment setting or similar, where his time outside is supervised or leashed. Romeo will be transported to CA for adoption around the middle of October 💓
