MEET ROCKY, a 2-year-old Australian Kelpie in need of a foster or forever home! Rocky is a very affectionate dog who loves his human! He would do well with someone who works from home or is retired, as he loves to be with people. Rocky weighs only 40 lbs., and is a loving boy. He's done well with other dogs in the past, though we can test him further. Kelpies are intelligent dogs, believed to have been descended from Border Collies. They love to be stimulated with walks and other activities. Rocky would do best in an active home where he can go for walks, hikes or other outings. He's currently in Southern California. Hi there, I came to HSVC lost but am ready to find my forever home. I’m a sweet, loyal guy who loves having a job to do and a person to call my own. I already know my basic commands, and I’m always excited to learn something new by keeping my brain busy with tricks and training is one of my favorite things! I’m also a big fan of the game of fetch, hanging out with my dog friends, and showing off my goofy side once we become pals. I’m the kind of dog who prospers with clear communication and mutual respect. I like my space to be understood, especially when I’m enjoying one of my favorite toys. The best way to win me over is with a tasty trade and a little patience. With the right match, I’m an incredibly devoted companion who will stick by your side through every adventure. I have the potential to do well with respectful teens and a home that enjoys both fun playtime and learning together. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate partner who’s equally playful and loyal, I might just be your perfect teammate. Let’s go make some memories together!
