Anastasia (Asia) and her buddy Drizella (Ella) were rescued from an abandoned trailer after their human died. They were really stressed out, confused and living in filth. Thankfully someone reached out to our friends at Hope For Paws so they could be rescued, vetted and have a second chance at a better life. She’s good on leash. Good with other dogs but a little apprehensive when meeting some large male dogs at first. They were not fixed and running loose in a trailer park and appear to have had a litter or two so I think they are just weary of male dogs from past experiences. They both get over it fast. Good in the car and very loving. Even though they were rescued together, we are not convinced they need to stay together. They argue like typical sisters but they do love each other.

Good with other dogs and lived with a cat that was also rescued and already adopted. Good in the car and very loving. Even though they were rescued together, we are not convinced they need to stay together. They argue like typical sisters but they do love each other. Drizella is the queen of side-eye. She’s hilarious.

CLOVE is an absolute love bug! This one and one half year old beauty is a small girl, about 45 lbs. She is a “super cuddler” who wants to be with her human more than anything. This very special girl shows love right away and easily makes a connection when meeting new people. Clove is practically an angel to walk. She is very responsive to cues and often looks back at you or wants to know where you are when walking. She seems to like having her pack close to her. Clove loves being pet and given love and affection. She will stop walking and ask to be pet and given love. She does jump up to give kisses but listens to commands really well. She is very treat motivated and easy to train. Clove has a silly, playful side too and is a little clown. She likes to do an occasional zoomie on leash and boings up with her little toes splayed!!! She just wants to have fun and she makes you laugh! Clove is friendly with other dogs. She was kenneled with another dog at the shelter before she was rescued. She is non reactive to other dogs on walks. She would be happy living with another dog or on her own. Her people are what is important to her. Clove is a sweet, happy girl who will make a loving companion and a wonderful family dog. RASCAL is a wriggly, derpy, gentle little guy. This dashing tuxedo boy is about 40 lbs and one and a half years old. He is a little shy at first. But give him a few minutes and he shows his loving, even tempered, gentle nature. He wants to please, takes treats very gently and listens well. Rascal is learning to walk nicely on leash. He pulls a little when excited but settles down and loves his walks. Rascal is a medium energy guy. He loves a bit of play but mostly wanders the yard for sniffs and then wants to come and cuddle. Rascal is dog friendly and non reactive with other dogs. He was kenneled with another dog at the shelter before he was rescued. Hello, my name is Zuko, and ball is life. I was surrendered by my owner with my brother Scout, who has since been adopted into his new family and now it is my turn. I know basic commands like sit, I’m still working on lay down and one of my hooman friends is trying to teach me spin which is going pretty well I’d say. I’m very eager to learn and will do anything for a treat but I would much prefer a ball. The staff haven’t seen me with kids yet, but I think I might be able to handle them as I also have a good amount of energy. I do have some dog furiends that I get along with and play with, but I would rather just tolerate them and play ball for days.
