Kelpies are intelligent dogs, believed to have been descended from Border Collies. They love to be stimulated with walks and other activities. Rocky would do best in an active home where his person or people work from home, or are retired, as he loves company. He'd also thrive in a home with another dog, though it's not a necessity. Meet DARBY! Darby is a beautiful Kelpie mix who was rescued from Stanislaus Animal Services just in time, before being euthanized. She is about 2 years old and weighs approximately 51 lbs. Darby is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She is currently in training with our trainers and continuing to socialize with other dogs. Darby is a very sweet, friendly, and loving girl who does well with both people and dogs. She is patiently waiting for her forever home where she can finally feel safe and loved.
