My world is full of wonder and curiosity. I love exploring new things and I'm a playful pup always ready for a game of fetch or a fun romp in the yard. I'm very affectionate and love to cuddle and snuggle up for a good nap or for a pet on my soft fur. My gentle nature and friendly spirit make me a great companion and I am just the right size to care for (appox 30 lbs). I've got energy to spare and a tail that won't stop wagging. He's basically a big goofy older puppy. Murray plays really well with other dogs. He's also a lover with people. He's probably too rowdy for little kids. And we don't know how he is with cats. Rowan is a 7 year-old, purebred, red merle Australian Shepherd. He is a beautiful blue-eyed boy who we adopted in 2018. Rowan is an extremely smart, loyal, obedient, and loving dog who struggles with situational reactivity and aggression. In a few cases now, this has escalated to nips and very minor bites. My husband and I moved from Michigan to Santa Barbara in 2023 so that I can pursue my PhD at the University of California, and are now living in a small, two-bedroom apartment. Further, I am currently pregnant and expecting twins who are due in early December. Sadly, we know that keeping Rowan in the home with two newborns is not feasible for us. We are really hoping to find him a new home where he can thrive and his behavioral problems can be safely managed. He does really well with grooming, the vet, & boarding- he loves the staff and is able to be around other dogs. Rowan does not come without his challenges, but he is an affectionate goofball who will love you forever.

Macky is a fun sweet guy that our family fell in love with quickly. He's playful for hours and will be a constant buddy. He is easy to train and loves as much attention as he can get. He is well behaved indoors, no big problems. Good behavior in the dog yard although he'd rather be with his people. He's good at relaxing indoor especially if you put him on a line. We love so much about him! Macky has high energy and is always up for a good time. He keeps his ball with him and is devoted to it. He walks great on a leash but doesn't have much experience being away from home or at the dog park. He is silly and so easy to love and enjoy. He loves his family and loves kids. We are so sad that we need to find him a new family.
