Story
RASCAL is a wriggly, derpy, gentle little guy. This dashing tuxedo boy is about 40 lbs and one and a half years old. He is a little shy at first. But give him a few minutes and he shows his loving, even tempered, gentle nature. He wants to please, takes treats very gently and listens well. Rascal is learning to walk nicely on leash. He pulls a little when excited but settles down and loves his walks. Rascal is a medium energy guy. He loves a bit of play but mostly wanders the yard for sniffs and then wants to come and cuddle. Rascal is dog friendly and non reactive with other dogs. He was kenneled with another dog at the shelter before he was rescued. He would be fine living with another dog or happy on his own with his people. This gentle, sweet young boy is longing for a home of his own and a family to love. To Adopt RASCAL please fill out an adoption application: https://www.allforloveanimalrescue.org/adoption-application Or Email: Info@AllForLoveAnimalRescue.org Ventura County, CA.

Story
Woof woof, hi there! I'm Chuck, the one and only. I might come across as a bit reserved and cautious, but let me tell you, there's a heart of gold beneath this fur. My journey hasn't been the smoothest ride - I've seen the world from the streets, where every rustle in the bushes and every passing shadow was a potential adventure or danger. That's probably why I've developed this keen sense of alertness and rational thinking. Survival mode, they call it.You know, I used to roam the great outdoors all by myself, finding shelter wherever I could, learning the rhythms of the streets, and observing the humans from a distance. I have to admit, they puzzled me a bit. But now, I've found myself in this wonderful place called SPARC, and boy, has my perspective changed. It's true, I might take a little time to warm up to new faces. Meeting strangers used to be a dicey situation for me, but I'm trying to make progress! With a proper introduction and patience, I've shown that I can overcome my initial hesitation and embrace the chance to make new friends. I've even started to wag my tail more often - it's a sign that I'm opening up, you know. You see, all I really need is a bit of love, a dash of attention, and a good dose of mental and physical activities to keep my paws moving and my mind sharp. A home that understands my past and is willing to offer a fresh start is all I dream of. I might be cautious at first, but once you earn my trust, I'll be unconditionally loyal. I believe in second chances, and I'm ready to give my heart to the right human. So, if you're looking for a buddy who's more than meets the eye, someone who's faced challenges head-on and is ready to embark on a new journey of companionship, then look no further. Let's make memories together and show the world what second chances can do.

Story
Lady is a sweet-natured female dog with a heart as soft as her fur. Though she may appear reserved at first glance, her gentle demeanor and kind eyes speak volumes about her loving spirit. This timid beauty is looking for a special someone who understands her need for patience and tranquility. Lady thrives in calm environments where she can feel safe and secure, allowing her true personality to blossom like a delicate flower. Her low energy level makes her the perfect companion for leisurely strolls, and her impeccable leash manners make walks a joyous experience for both her and her handler. Lady respects boundaries and appreciates clear communication, making her a delightful addition to any home. However, Lady's shy nature shines brightest when she's given the opportunity to be in a foster environment. With the warmth and comfort of a nurturing foster home, she can slowly but surely come out of her shell, revealing the playful and affectionate soul within. If you're someone who embodies patience, kindness, and understands the beauty of a gentle soul, Lady may just be the perfect match for you. Open your heart and home to Lady, and watch as she blossoms into the loyal and loving companion she was always meant to be.Are you ready to welcome Lady into your life? Breed: Australian Cattle Dog / Jack Russell Terrier X DOB: 1/2021 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: medium Color(s): black/white/brown Description:Hi, I'm Mando, an active Australian Cattle Dog / Jack Russell Terrier X in need of a new home as my owner sadly has passed away. I'm thankful CARL has accepted me into their adoption program and will help me find my forever home. I know basic commands and enjoy going for walks. It's unknown how I would do with dogs, cats or children. A trainer thought an adult only home or a home with older children would be best for me. I do bark at other dogs on walks, but I'm calm when in a dog park. If you have a fur baby in the home already, please bring him/her along so we can do a meet and greet. I've adjusted to other people when my owner went into hospice and lots of new people were coming into the house.Although my world has been turned upside down, I've adjusted as best I can. If you have room in your heart and home for me, please fill out an online application to meet me.April 25, 2024, 5:03 pm

Story
CLOVE is an absolute love bug! This one and one half year old beauty is a small girl, about 45 lbs. She is a “super cuddler” who wants to be with her human more than anything. This very special girl shows love right away and easily makes a connection when meeting new people. Clove is practically an angel to walk. She is very responsive to cues and often looks back at you or wants to know where you are when walking. She seems to like having her pack close to her. Clove loves being pet and given love and affection. She will stop walking and ask to be pet and given love. She does jump up to give kisses but listens to commands really well. She is very treat motivated and easy to train. Clove has a silly, playful side too and is a little clown. She likes to do an occasional zoomie on leash and boings up with her little toes splayed!!! She just wants to have fun and she makes you laugh! Clove is friendly with other dogs. She was kenneled with another dog at the shelter before she was rescued. She is non reactive to other dogs on walks. She would be happy living with another dog or on her own. Her people are what is important to her. Clove is a sweet, happy girl who will make a loving companion and a wonderful family dog. Story
Hello, my name is Zuko, and ball is life. I was surrendered by my owner with my brother Scout, who has since been adopted into his new family and now it is my turn. I know basic commands like sit, I’m still working on lay down and one of my hooman friends is trying to teach me spin which is going pretty well I’d say. I’m very eager to learn and will do anything for a treat but I would much prefer a ball. The staff haven’t seen me with kids yet, but I think I might be able to handle them as I also have a good amount of energy. I do have some dog furiends that I get along with and play with, but I would rather just tolerate them and play ball for days.
