Dahlia Marie is a beautiful 7-year-old black Australian Kelpie with a gentle soul and a loyal heart. She currently lives on a ranch in Escalon and is used to having space to explore and relax. Dahlia can be a little shy around men at first, but she warms up quickly with patience and a few tasty treats. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality really shines. She is wonderful with kids and truly phenomenal with female dogs. With male dogs, she can be a bit assertive, so slow introductions or a female companion would be ideal. Nomi is a smart young lady who is already house-trained to use a dog door and has excellent house manners. She stays loose on the ground floor of her foster home overnight without any problems. While she's still learning to walk politely on a leash, she's a quick learner and will continue to improve with a little guidance and consistency.
