Introducing Chrissie, our precious 10 months old rescue with a heart full of love. Saved from a high-kill shelter, Chrissie is a testament to resilience and affection. She is a leash-walking pro, adores her furry friends and remains a sweetheart around kids and cats. With her attentive nature, she is a great listener and thrives on affection and love. Sweet Jingles was found abandobed on a country road. A Good Samaritan found her and is fostering her until we can find her forever home. Jingles is very gentle with kids and plays fetch with the foster's children. She is a true cuddlbug and loves sleeping on your chest and lap. She is working on her leash skills and basic commands. Jingles is crate trained and is doing really well with her housebreaking routines. She is a highly intelligent girl and cocktail her head when you talk to her. Story
Meet your Best Friend Drax, he is Australian Shephard and is an energetic 10-month-old. DOB 01/23, 40 pound, boy with black, white and brown patches. He is being rehomed because he is not getting the love, he desperately wants at home! We require BREED experience to adopt Australian Shephard’s from AFC!! Drax is waiting for the perfect home. He is a happy playful, affectionate and very active boy. He is good with children and other dogs and animals. He would do well having another dog in the family. Drax is leash trained and loves riding in the car. He is housebroken. We expect accidents in a new environment. Drax loves to run and play and has an all-around great temperament. Here is a list of things that should help us answer you in a more timely manner. 1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/ 5. For Adopt a Pet (scroll way down past “Ask about me”) you will see the biography and underneath that will be the adoption questionnaire link.
