Story
MEET ROCKY, a 2-year-old Australian Kelpie in need of a foster or forever home! Rocky is a very affectionate dog who loves his human! He would do well with someone who works from home or is retired, as he loves to be with people. Rocky weighs only 40 lbs., and is a loving boy. He's done well with other dogs in the past, though we can test him further. Kelpies are intelligent dogs, believed to have been descended from Border Collies. They love to be stimulated with walks and other activities. Rocky would do best in an active home where he can go for walks, hikes or other outings. He's currently in California, but can be transported to Idaho. Please email for an application.

Story
***NEEDS FOREVER HOME*** Currently in Boise BANDIT is a ~2-year-old, 32-lb long-haired, medium-sized pup with gorgeous eyes that is a mix likely of red heeler, kelpie, and shepherd. BANDIT walks well on leash ignores other friendly dogs. He knows ‘go potty’ when out in the yard. He does well in vehicles too. BANDIT has just about mastered the “sit” command. We are still working on “paw” command and recall. Of course, all of those commands are ineffective if a squirrel is spotted! We suspect high prey drive. BANDIT is learning to play—likes crinkle toys. He is usually unaffected by TV noise when lying beside his people on the couch, but will turn away and hide his eyes and nose in the blanket when it is too loud. He is still cautious around people when they are walking around. He seems to like cooler environments (pants to cool off if on cushy blanket). He loves scratches on his ears, chin and neck. He enjoys rub-downs with a towel to dry off. He is quiet (no barking), but has shared a cute Dolphin squeek. BANDIT is not yet perfect…He sneaks balls of yarn out of project baskets. He has been caught counter surfing when there was some dog food left out. BANDIT is current on his health vaccines, neutered and microchipped for his forever family. Story
Bob, yep Bob. He is truly a beautiful dog. He is incredibly intelligent. He is the dog that you could teach literally anything. When he is interesgive you the utmost focus and attention. He knows all basic commands and fetches like an Instagram reel. You need to be active. Avid runner or hiker? Hed be your best friend. He’d also thrive on a ranch. But he absolutely needs an active person that wants a sidekick. He is a needy Velcro dog which is epic if that’s your jam. He loves any outing he can be a part of, car rides, errands, hikes… he’ll run along side your vehicle on backroads while zigzagging many miles more than you take him. He’s cool, really cool. ;s also very determined, this can work against him because although he knows perfectly well what you’re asking of him but he has decided he wants different and he may ignore you. LOL funny sometimes, highly annoying other times. He likes people. He is good once introduced to dogs. He deserves the best!

Story
HI - I'M TARZAN, and I'm a sweet and shy 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter, where I became urgent because I was so scared and shy. While there, I had kennel mates, and I've done well with other dogs. I'm still shy, but am a work in progress. I'm starting to come out of my shell, and I can be petted now. I need a quiet home with a patient person or people who can give me a sense of security and the love and affection I so deserve. I'm very young and have my whole life ahead of me. I'm currently in California, but can be transported to you in Idaho. Please email for an application.
