Story
Friendly Lucy is a medium sized pup that loves to snuggle and play. Lucy joined our rescue as a stray in rough condition. She was covered in mange and had a previously broken leg that was too healed to do surgery on. She has been thriving in foster care for months and is finally ready for adoption. Lucy spends her days playing with her foster siblings in the yard, and following her foster mom around the house. She is fostered with several cats and dogs. The vet guesses that she is around 1-2 years old. Spay, microchip, and current vaccines all included in her adoption fee. Please start with the adoption application: freedomboundhounds.com/adopt

Story
Meet Arya from the Game of Bones Litter: Courageous and Ready for Their Forever Homes! Step into the enchanting tale of our Game of Bones Litter—a family of strong, brave siblings whose journey is nothing short of heroic. These resilient pups were found with their mother under a freeway underpass, alone, hungry, and in desperate need of a miracle. Thanks to our dedicated rescue representative, who didn’t hesitate for a moment, this remarkable family was brought in for essential medical care and a second chance at life. In the warmth and safety of our rescue, these pups have flourished. They have transformed from wary, timid souls into confident, playful bundles of joy. Their mother, ever the guardian, has watched with pride as her puppies grew stronger and more courageous each day.  Now, they are all set to embark on the next chapter of their journey—finding loving homes where they can continue to thrive. Imagine the joy and warmth you’ll feel as one of these brave pups curls up in your lap or bounds across your yard with boundless energy. They are not just dogs; they are warriors who have fought their way through adversity and emerged victorious. Their loyalty and love will be unwavering and their playful antics will fill your home with laughter and light. Arya is a sweet girl. She is a petite 14 lbs at 6 months old. She is full of puppy playfulness and antics. She loves toys and will gladly keep herself occupied with them. She will also curl up for a nap beside you after playtime. She is doing fantastic with potty training and does not have accidents if taken out on a regular basis. She is very smart and has already learned how to "sit". She is good on the leash. She does get a little nervous when she sees strangers but we're working on building up her confidence and exposing her to new experiences. She is good with dogs and cats. She is a little nervous when meeting strangers but she does warm up quickly, especially for treats. ;D She is so freaking cute and so sweet. She is going to be a great addition to a family. Arya is being fostered in Salem, OR. She is available for meet and greets with approved applicants. Her siblings are still in Houston, TX until a foster or adopter in the PNW is found. Our rescue does offer transport services from Houston every 3 weeks to the PNW, ensuring that these incredible pups can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. To add one of these extraordinary pups to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information or go to Springbranchrescue.org/available-pets.html to find their individual bios and applications. Story
I adopted Poppy when she was about 4 months old. She is just in love with every human she meets. Although very wiggly, she is wonderful with kids. She loves to give lots of kisses and is a cuddling champion. She has congenital deafness, but that doesn't stop her from loving life. She has had professional training and with hand signals is very attentive and loves to learn. She is also very treat responsive. LOVES treats. She is spayed, microchipped and UTD on vaccines. In short, she is extremely lovable which is why this is so devastatingly heartbreaking. Unfortunately, she and her long time buddy just can't get along anymore. She has been a dog that resource guards and despite my best efforts it has only worsened over the past few months. I believe that her and her buddy now have littermate syndrome and my only option is to separate them permanently. She really needs to be in a home where she is the only pet. I will only adopt with a home check, I love her tremendously.

Story
Hi everyone, I tried to re-home Poppy about a year ago without much success. I've tried to make it work because I love her, but she keeps fighting with her sister and its getting worse. I now have to move in with my father to help caretake him as his health is deteriorating and there are lots of cats and dogs and a horse where he lives. She is a wonderful dog, so sweet with all humans. She has congenital deafness and intestinal lymphangectasia which needs an every other day medication and a low fat GI diet. The love and excitement and cuddles she gives is worth the medical care. She is 6 years old, is spayed, caught up on all vaccines, and has a chip. I adopted her from a rescue organization when she was a puppy and she is pure love in dog form. She just has no capacity to be with other dogs, especially with her sister. She knows hand signals, is super smart and is able to learn really easily. And wants to learn. I think she would thrive in a home where she is the only animal.
