MEET ROCKY, a 2-year-old Australian Kelpie in need of a foster or forever home! Rocky is a very affectionate dog who loves his human! He would do well with someone who works from home or is retired, as he loves to be with people. Rocky weighs only 40 lbs., and is a loving boy. He's done well with other dogs in the past, though we can test him further. Kelpies are intelligent dogs, believed to have been descended from Border Collies. They love to be stimulated with walks and other activities. Rocky would do best in an active home where he can go for walks, hikes or other outings. He's currently in California, but can be transported to Idaho. Please email for an application.

Abandoned on a farm last November, he is more than ready to trade the boarding kennel for a cozy couch. Why you’ll love him: • Polite & Quiet: He walks perfectly on a leash, ignores other dogs, and makes a cute "dolphin squeak" when happy! • Couch Companion: He loves lounging and will even hide his nose in a blanket if the TV is too loud. • Smart & Eager: He’s mastered "sit" and knows the "go potty" command. • Sweet Stuff: He lives for chin scratches and being towel-dried after adventures.
