Story
Looking to adopt Odie! Odie LOVES people! He is very social and loves to be an indoor dog but can also be left alone in the house when his owner has to leave. He enjoys cuddling up with you on the couch or bed but is also trained to stay off if not invited. He doesn't chew or ruin anything. Odie gets very energetic around people and other dogs but he does not like cats! He needs a family who will love and cuddle him. He does great with kids. Our neighbor passed away recently and we temporarily took on Odie until we could find an owner because his deceased owner didn't have any family in town. Odie is the most lovable and social dog and would make any owner happy!

Rocket’s adoption is pending. He is getting a chance to see if he will work out with a prospective adopter. They took advantage of our Foster - to Adopt program to give him a try in their own home.   Meet Rocket! Rocket came to us as a stray. We are all surprised no one has come looking for him. He was already neutered and microchipped. Unfortunately, the microchip was never registered. Without being registered we have no way of finding his owners.   The vet estimates Rocket is about 5 1/2 years old. Rocket, true to his breed will be your loyal shadow. He is timid at first but warms up quickly. Rocket is looking for a job to do as he is herding our volunteers in the kennels already. We believe Rocket would do best with older kids. He loves to play fetch and he knows a lot of commands too! So far we have found that he knows Sit, Down, Come, but we are sure there are more. He is well behaved and walks nicely on the leash. Come meet Rocket and give him a chance to warm up to you too!   All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. Please fill out an application if you are interested in this dog or call us today for more information.           Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in.           Pet Adoption League  1526 N.
