Story
MEET SPOT, an almost 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix! Spot is adorable! He has a long nose, huge ears, and beautiful markings. He loves to go for walks, jogs, and road trips! Spot would do best with an active person or people since he will need plenty of exercise. He walks well on a leash, though can get distracted by outdoor critters. He is currently in a foster home and has done well with other dogs in the home and at doggy daycare. And he loves to play and wrestle, so pairing him with a like canine pal is important. He crate-trains well and is roughly 58 lbs. Please email for an application!

Story
Meet Pelican! Pelican is a male, 2.5 year old, Australian Cattle Dog blend. He is 68 pounds.Pelican arrived at the shelter as a stray. He is a very sweet and happy pup! He is smart, too, and loves treats, so continued training with him should be super fun and a great bonding experience! He already knows sit, shake, and down. Pelican's new forever family should put him on a diet and ensure he receives regular exercise, as he is a little bit overweight and wants to live a long and healthy life! He loves to give you hugs! Overall, Pelican is a great dog who is ready to go home!Pelican will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We do not know how he will do with cats.Pelican is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and ready to go home today! The shelter is currently open by appointment only. Story
Waylon is a 3 year old blue heeler, border collie mix. He has lots of energy and loves to play, especially fetch!! At night he always comes to lay down for belly rubs and cuddles. Unfortunately at this time, I just can’t provide the home and energy he needs and I’m looking to rehome him to someone who can give him more time and space! He is potty trained and crate trained, and he loves to spend most of his time outside playing. We can send him with his kennel, collar, and leash, as well as help get him to you if you are wanting to take him in. Thank you!!
