Story
Looking for a blend of "zoomie" energy and "couch potato" cuddles? Meet Cali, a 10-month-old pup who is ready to find her forever family! At 45 lbs, she’s the perfect medium-sized companion for adventures and relaxation alike. Why You’ll Love Her: • The Ultimate Playmate: Cali is a fun-loving girl who lives for toys and a good game of tag. She absolutely loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine sibling to show her the ropes (though she’s happy to be your "one and only" too!). • Zoomie Champion: If you have a secure fenced yard, you’ll get a front-row seat to her legendary zoomies. She loves to stretch her legs and enjoy the fresh air. • A Gentle Soul: While she’s a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for her to realize you’re a friend. Once she warms up, she’s all about the pets and will happily snuggle up next to you. • Feline Friendly: Cali is a polite girl who gets along well with cats, making her a great fit for multi-pet households. The "Nitty-Gritty": • Potty Training: She is so close to being fully house-trained! With a consistent routine, she’ll be a pro in no time. • Crate Training: Cali is crate trained. While it’s not her favorite place to hang out (she’d much rather be where the action is), she handles it like a champ. Cali’s Ideal Home: Cali is looking for a patient family who understands that the best things in life take a few minutes to warm up. A home with a fenced yard is a high priority so she can play safely. If you have another dog for her to wrestle with, that’s a huge bonus!

Story
HI - I'M TARZAN, and I'm a sweet and shy 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter, where I became urgent because I was so scared and shy. While there, I had kennel mates, and I've done well with other dogs. I'm still shy, but am a work in progress. I'm starting to come out of my shell, and I can be petted now. I need a quiet home with a patient person or people who can give me a sense of security and the love and affection I so deserve. I'm very young and have my whole life ahead of me. I'm currently in California, but can be transported to you in Idaho. Please email for an application.

Story
Got Charlie after some teenagers abandoned her, and I have had her for a little over a year now. We sadly moved to an apartment after living in a house with a nice big yard, and I noticed a difference in her mood. She is such a bright, happy, and energetic pup who needs a backyard to run in. She is a year and a half old. Her birthday is September 6, 2024. Her favorite thing to do is go for a car ride. She is good with other animals (not squirrels or birds) and kids, and she loves pets and cuddles.

Story
Meet Scout! The sweetest little guy with a sad past- he's looking forward to a bright future! Scout was found on a property that we're currently helping with that has 60 dogs. Needless to say- he's very dog friendly! Scout is a chill boy that does well off leash and enjoys following his human around. He's small at 29 lbs. Scout can be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly. He's eager to be involved and apart of someone's family, we're excited to give him this opportunity. He wants more than anything to jump up next to you and cuddle. He's neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped. He's going through heartworm treatment, but that will just be a series of injections (covered by the rescue) and is expected to be a quick and easy treatment. He's ready to head straight to his new home so that we can turn our focus to his dog buddies still on the hoarding property. Please start with the adoption application: freedomboundhounds.com/adopt

Story
Meet Joe! A sweet 7-8 lb puppy that was saved during the Texas freeze. He was left outside during the coldest time of the year and a rescuer found him and took him in. He's been all about the blankets and sweaters since! Joe is everything we love about puppies. Friendly, playful, and so adorable. He plays hard and naps harder. His breed is only our best guess, and we think he's about 3 months old. Joe is a blank canvas that is ready to join a family of his own. Neuter, microchip, and current vaccines all included in his adoption fee. Please start with the adoption application: freedomboundhounds.com/adopt

Story
This goofy, happy boy is ready for some adventure and some snuggles! He loves everyone including kids, dogs, and cats (though he might chase them if they run!). He's pretty high energy but is great on leash, has good manners, and could easily be off-leash trained. He would do best in an active home, especially if he has a dog buddy to play with. In the evenings, he loves to snuggle on the couch with his family. Austin is a great mix of playful and sweet and would make a great companion to take on adventures!

Story
Looking to adopt Odie! Odie LOVES people! He is very social and loves to be an indoor dog but can also be left alone in the house when his owner has to leave. He enjoys cuddling up with you on the couch or bed but is also trained to stay off if not invited. He doesn't chew or ruin anything. Odie gets very energetic around people and other dogs but he does not like cats! He needs a family who will love and cuddle him. He does great with kids. Our neighbor passed away recently and we temporarily took on Odie until we could find an owner because his deceased owner didn't have any family in town. Odie is the most lovable and social dog and would make any owner happy!
