Meet Hunny! This three-year-old, 46-pound kelpie/rottie mix definitely lives up to her namesake! Hunny is the perfect balance of timid tenderness and playful pal! Give this girl five minutes of your time and she'll be sure to win you over with her endearing nature. She may come off shy at first, but soon enough she'll be showing you just how playful she can be. Hunny loves to bat her toys around and it's so much fun watching how much joy it brings her. Hunny is very food-motivated and enjoys all sorts of tasty treats. She lives for her belly rubs and enjoys her daily walks. She will thrive in an active home with lots of exercise, continued training, and a yard to enjoy. She already knows how to sit and is eager to learn more. Hunny enjoys the company of her kennel mates and could be a great pal for another pup! Based on our evaluation, we feel Hunny would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. She may have the potential to live in a home with other animals and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby. Hi, my name is Chap, and I’m a playful, energetic pup ready to find my forever home!I absolutely love to fetch—give me a ball and I’ll happily chase it for hours. I’m also a smart boy who already knows commands like sit and shake (especially if there’s a treat involved!). I get along great with other dogs and enjoy a good game of chase with my furry friends.I’m currently heartworm positive, but don’t worry—my treatment will be fully provided by MCAC. I’ll just need a family who can support me through that process and give me the care I deserve.My ideal home would have older children who understand how to interact with dogs, and I’d do best in a cat-free environment. Because I have lots of energy, a fenced-in yard is a must so I can run, play, and be my happiest self.I’m a really good boy looking for someone experienced with my breed who can give me structure, love, and plenty of playtime.
